This is a modest hotel but a great place to stay, very central with staff who went the extra mile. Breakfast was included but after one fairly ordinary experience we chose the Old Harbour Hotel and had an amazing breakfast ( at additional cost). The Old Harbour seems to manage Raintree and the staff here were also really helpful printing... More

We arrived quite late in this hotel and we had a very good night in this calm hotel. In the morning, we discover that it was just a few minutes walk from the seaside and the Chinese fishnets. The main street is close so that we can easilty take a riskshaw to go sightseeing. The staff is very friendly and... More

We decided, on the spur of the moment, to take our two young children to Kochi for Easter weekend. Our first choice, the Old Harbour Hotel, was booked, so the staff recommended their sister property, the Raintree Lodge. It ended up being a very nice choice for us. Raintree is on a quiet street, very close to restaurants, small shops,... More

We spent 3 nights at Raintree at the start of our Kerala trip. We were extremely pleased with our stay, the beds were amazingly comfortable, the room really clean and the staff extremely friendly. Also located centrally so within easy walking distance of main sights and many restaurants. Would recommend to anyone. Unfortunately no breakfast provided but there is a... More

i stayed at Raintree in January this year. It was a very cute little hotel. Close to everything i wanted to see. I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff were charming. Also, when i organised a birthday dinner for a friend at The Old Harbour Hotel, the owner organised so many special touches at our table that were a... More

We stayed at Raintree Lodge for eight nights and liked it so much it was very difficult to leave. The location is perfect--away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk everywhere you need to go. We also ate breakfast at the Kashi Art Cafe (and loved it) as well as at Vasco's (just a quick left turn... More

We stayed here 4 nights and we love this place! The room was very beautiful and the staff so nice. We also have the opportunity to dinner at Old Harbour Hotel (same managment) and we enjoy a lot! We reccomend it to everyone :-)

Relaxed, efficient and very friendly staff and charming rooms. We could not get in to the Old Harbour Hotel but they recommended this place as they also manage it. Quiet location and only a pleasant and short walk away from restaurants and cafes and shops. Lovely to hear the bells from Santa Cruz basilica, the call to prayer from the... More

This was a really nice place to stay in Fort Kochi. The location is great, near everything but away from the main corner with all the tourist shops. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. The staff is amazing with that gleaming Kerala smile. Free wifi and a sweet little roof terrace. There is no breakfast included but you... More

Not quite as good as we imagined from the guide book description but seemed reasonable for the money and a good central location on a quietish street. Pleasant accommodating staff kindly let us change our plans. Mozzie nets in the bathroom windows would help.

Fort Cochin is a small town in the southern part of India. For centuries, it remained the focal point to many a European traveler, who eventually made it home. And in years to follow, it gradually acquired an eclectic mix of varied cultures that blend to form a unique existence for itself. Today, much of the place continues to exude this charm.
