Brunton Boatyard was the first of our hotels during a two week tour of Kerala and it set the standard high. The colonial style hotel is built round a lovely green courtyard and is sited on the harbour front. It was fascinating watching all the different vessels go past from ferries, fishing boats cruise ships container ships dredgers and warships. The... More

I stayed in the Brunton for one night. It is really a beautiful hotel. The room was fantastic, with amazing views and very comfortable; the building is lovely. Is very well located to explore Kochi and the restaurant is good and of raisonnable price for a luxury hotel. I used also the ayurveda spa, even if by then I was... More

This hotel is a real gem. The location, in Fort Kochi, near historical places and the Chinese fishnets, is perfect. The room is decorated in colonial style, with very high bed and every single detail is well thought of. Dinner is a la carte - a good change from most hotels in town - and the menu offers great variety.... More

This is a fantastic hotel set right on the water in the heart of Ft. Kochi. I was here during the Biennale -- which was right next store. The hotel has a wonderful garden area where you can eat and look out at the harbor, great for breakfast. They also have a speed boat that takes you to other parts... More

A hotel with a colonial presence adds charm to the waterfront of Kochi. Whilst we did not stay at this hotel, we went for our meals by the waterfront café at this hotel and our overall experience was thoroughly enjoyable. With ships and boats of all sizes passing by, one can enjoy a relaxed meal with a chilled glass of... More

A beautiful, old world charm hotel, very well kept and managed, the welcome was refreshing after a long drive. Rooms overlooking the waterfront with balcony was treat to stay. The staff was courteous and very helpful. Dining in the restaurant was a wonderful experience with live karnatic music and authentic cuisine, would want to return with family

This is a beautifully remodeled hotel with that classic Colonial charm. We had room 209 which has a balcony overlooking the river, amazing. Two bathrooms, a pantry, living room. A lot of room for two people. The view is amazing, with the ferry shuttle right next to you, so you can watch it all day long. The pool is wonderful,... More

This hotel is a beautifully restored building. The outlook onto the harbour os great and it is a safe and secluded respite from the busyness of Fort Cochin. The staff were all wonderful. The room was spacious, air conditioned and had a balcony overlooking the pool and harbour. I cannot recommend it enough. There is a ferry service that runs... More

Stayed in a suite with river facing view. The hotel uses natural products which we liked and the food was superb. One of my best meals in Southern India was at their seafood restaurant, where their lobster Marsala dish was wonderful. Breakfast was also very good. Tried the spa and had a traditional Ayurvedic massage which was very authentic. Hotel... More

Kochi is charming and this hotel reflects the old, quiet charm of the city. It is, itself, quiet and very secure, but once you step out the door you are in a vibrant and lively part of the city. The rooms are spacious, the linens good, the service helpful without being intrusive. The breakfast is great but the same restaurant... More
