5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed for two nights as part of our tour. From first to last just excellent, staff food and surroundings. Managed to sample two different rooms, the first (8) with an enormous bed and then a Courtyard one. Both exceelent. All staff were great but Najla and her colleague on the desk were just superb. Definitely recommended and I would... More

My family and myself had a wonderful four nights here being thoroughly spoilt by the very professional and caring staff. We had three deluxe rooms facing the main courtyard. My husband and I had number 8, which is very large with a huge bed, and my brother and mother two very charmingly decorated rooms with outside sitting space. We were... More

Highly enjoyed this boutique hotel perfectly located in the heart of the colonial town of Fort Kochi. Small building with a gourmet restaurant, wine bar, tiny pool and spa. Nice rooms in colonial style and great service. Will definitely select it again if I'll return in Kerala

We looked forward to a gastronomic dinner at the restaurant Malabar Junction. The music was playing. We had a great table. We drank delicious wine. But, food a disappointment & service poor. Staff were untrained. Served a course before clearing away the previous course. Shame. But, after we voiced our concerns we were only charged the drinks! The cook &... More

We've been around a fair bit but neither the current bf or I had been to India and decided to escape the European January gloom for some sun and fun. We didn't have much time so meticulous planning was undertaken. We had a brilliant time in Bangalore and were looking forward to the second part of our trip in Kochi.... More

We nearly stayed here and the hotel is very stylish but we thought we'd try out the bar and restaurant before booking. It wasn't very good and the service was incredibly slow. There was one waiter working the bar (very busy) and one waiter working the restaurant. They really do need more staff! When the food arrived (we ordered the... More

We found the malabar house perfectly acceptable but were definitely not blown away - we had 2 ground floor rooms which were quite dark and basic and one room had minimal storage. There was an outdoor seating area attached to one room but it was not well maintained at all so we did not use it. The public areas are... More

Well, currently on our annual family vacation in Kerala. We got prices from this property but decided against choosing this property and opted for A Beach Symphony. So glad we did not choose this snooty, unwelcome alleged hospitality business. Today (13th Jan) our driver dropped us off outside at 11am. We thought drinks after our hour drive prior to shopping...
