I couldn't have asked for anything better during my stay in Fort Kochi. The family is very sweet. They took really good care of me...even made 'Puttu' for me, which is local Kerala dish for breakfast. They made sure I was safe back home at night and I had no problems with anything. This homestay is near Bishop House which... More

We stayed for a week at Lazar Residency with Jaicy and Joy in december 2013. They have their homestay in the centre of Cochin, in a very nice neighbourhood and they have nice rooms, are most kind and helpful, inviting us at their home in an open way and really feed us with their good cooking. Once we got lost... More

It's a real homestay (as opposed to a guesthouse where the manager's family is there as well), in a quiet family home in a narrow lane just 6-7 mins walk to the "main tourist street". Really friendly hosts (Christian family). Very clean. Wifi works well. There is a communal kitchen with a fridge for self-caterers, and a nice small lounge... More

An ideal homestay only a short walk from the centre of Kochi. Very clean and comfortable and quiet enough to not need ear plugs for sleeping (rare during my visit to India). The owner, Joy, answered all my questions, helped me organise whatever I wanted and made great tea. And the breakfasts where perfect! Also nearby is a good local... More

We loved the 3 days spent here! The house is in the middle of Fort Cochin, easy to walk to many places. Joy and his family is very very kind and helpful, our room was the cleanest room i've ever seen in India (!). They helped us as much as possible in organising our program, bought ticket and booked tours... More

First and foremost, Joy, Jaicy & their wonderful family are the nicest, most welcoming and humble people you could ever wish to stay with. Their home is your home and it's impossible not to feel like part of the family. The room we stayed in was immaculately clean, roomy and had the best a/c we've found in India. Outside the... More

We very much enjoyed our stay with Joy and his family who were all very warm and welcoming. We stayed in our own private room, one floor above the family, which opens straight into a communal dining and lounge area which includes a kitchen. We were even welcome to use the fridge and utensils, which was useful for us. Joy... More

Joy and his family were so wonderfully welcoming! My boyfriend and I arrived with our bicycles and Joy was more than accommodating. He took great care of us and our bikes! Such wonderful people. The place was spotless and you also have a shared kitchen at your disposal if you don't fancy eating out at the rip off restaurants every... More

Joy and his lovely wife and children are sweet, kind hosts. Their home is located in the charming historical district, and the room was big and airy. We came for four nights and stayed for seven. It became home away from home. They even provide a little kitchenette to make our own meals if we want. I am so glad... More

We stayed here for one week on the beginning of our journey through India. Initially we wanted to stay for 3 to 4 days but when we arrived, we immediatelly knew that we would stay longer. This place is amazing. It is very well located, close to the sea, town and whatever you want to see in Fort Kochin but... More
