We have spent 3 days in Maison Casero at the end of our journey to Kerala. We truly admit that it was the best homestay in Kerala we have been to (and we have been to many). The rooms are spacious, bright , well furnished and clean. The building itself is very nice - big balcony on which you eat... More

A lovely place to stay, run by Jaison and Priya as a true homestay, where as a guest you are treated pretty much as part of the family. Not all so-called homestays are real homestays, but Jaison and Priya's certainly is. They have two little girls, who are extremely friendly and helpful, just like their parents. We arrived at Cochin... More

We stayed in this nice little homestay for two nights in January and had a great time there. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the typical Keralan breakfast. The homestay is located in a small and quiet alley near to all main sights in Fort Kochi. The price was... More

After a very long day travelling we were really looking forward to Maison Casero Homestay as all the reviews sound fantastic. But we were told when we pulled up that our room had been given to someone else as they decided to stay another day. This was quite upsetting as you can imagine two tired travellers having to find somewhere... More

stayed for one week over new years and must say it was very pleasant. we had front room with big windows and balcony right outside. watched fireworks from the roof. out of the main tourist centre but only by a few blocks, so easy to walk in and out of the throng. the owners are also attentive to their email... We stayed four nights at the Casero and really enjoyed it. Rooms were clean, but what's most is that the hosts are a super friendly family who gave us tips what to see and even invited us for a family birthday celebration. I can very much recommend the Maison Casero.

Fort Kochi is pretty packed with tourists, but one of the nice things about this homestay is that, as opposed to hotels, which can be pretty impersonal, at Maison Casero you get a more local experience since you're staying at the home of Priya and Jaison, both of whom are from Kochi (and are really kind and warm hosts). Breakfasts... More

I spent 10 days at Maison Casero, and it's certainly worth staying for a while. My room was clean, spacious, and mosquito-proof. There's a balcony from which you can watch the people of Fort Kochi going to church, school, or work -- it's also a good place for breakfast (delicious Keralan food) or a drink in the evening. The homestay... More

Staying at Maison Casero gave me and Keith a real understanding of everyday life in Kerala. This lovely home is well located in a quiet street in the residential area in the heart of Fort Kochi. It's an easy short walk to the promenade and the chinese fishing nets. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony surrounded by tropical trees,... More

I stayed with Jason and Priya for 2 weeks as there was some problems with my original homestay. They were very kind and helpful. They booked trips for me, showed me where to shop and gave me advise whenever I needed it. The location was central and an easy walk to the beach and main shopping areas. There was a... More
