We stayed here for one night. Most other places we looked at in the Fort were fully booked. The hotel was fine, rooms were simple so was breakfast. We were excited that there was a pool as it was 37C outside in the sun. Unfortunately the pool was HOT! Like being in a bath...very strange! Good location in the centre... More

Situated just off Vasco da Gama square, this quaint old hotel is ideally situated for exploring Old Kochi. Rooms are a good size, well presented and clean. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and storage space is rather limited. The food is good and the staff friendly and helpful. There's a swimming pool too!

This hotel charges 4 star prices but behaves like a YMCA. A lovely colonial building no doubt about it and rooms are nice. But we just had a terrible time. Staff are surly and unhelpful. The restaurant charged us for two meals when I replaced one item with another for my 10 year-old daughter. You're not allowed make calls from your... More

The hotel is a converted building that has retained loads of character from it's original purpose of a merchants reidence. The original part of the building has a really nice atmosphere with the old wooden and tile floors. Being an old building it has it's faults but this adds to the genuine charm of the place. We stayed in one... More

This hotel is fairly mid range but has a certain charm due to the age of the building. The pool is nice too and we chatted to lots of nice people who'd come into swim there. The rooms are clean and the staff helpful. The main thing in it's favour is its situation in Fort Cochin, right in the centre... More

People new to kochi will find it a struggle to reach on their own. The place gives one quint of udaipur. Narrow streets , shops selling artifacts, old heritage structures and quite a few tourists . The hotel is right on the street. The big doors opening directly onto stairs leading to the street. The lobby is large and sparse... More

Stayed for 3 nights (as part of a group). The rooms were very clean and spacious. Hot shower and electricity (including A/C) availability was very good (it’s India, after all…). The staff was very friendly Breakfast and dinners were excellent, and the hotel grounds were lovely. The hotel is located very close to the sea shore and to beautiful old... More

This hotel which belonged to a wealthy merchant has been transformed into a pleasant hotel. The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms. The swimming pool is a decent size with seating outside where breakfast was served. The buffet breakfast was excellent but ask for the fresh pineapple juice which is delicious. We had lunch in the hotel one day which... More

This is a small hotel on Princess street, once, reputedly, a wealthy merchant's home. It has a small swimming pool in the courtyard and a charming dining room. They might have wireless but if you need a computer go down the street a few hundred feet and use the internet cafe. The room was pretty decent and upstairs with a... More

This is a basic guest house, just a step up from a backpacker's hostel. I arrived late at night and the rooms offered to me were on the ground floor. A lane ran right against the windows with men gathered outside hawking and spitting, and motor bikes driving back and forth. On the other side, the thin door led to... More
