Its a boutique resort with very few rooms amazing view, good heritage building. Just above average food but the open air restaurant is best to watch the beach. Pool room and presidential suite room best recommended.

The building and location are simply beautiful: a shiny white colonial-style big house by the sea, with the maritime wind blowing by the open windows and making the curtains dancing in a mesmerizing way. A little swimming pool ads to the atmosphere. Rooms equipment and level of cleanness basically fit what you can expect from that category of hotels, with... More

Stayed for two nights a forthnight ago and was very pleased and positively surprised after all the reviews. Maybe I had low expectations, but staff was very friendly and helpful and most worked according to plan. The building is beautiful and the rooms are great. It is probably and 100 year old building, but nicely brought up to date. I... More

We booked this hotel for 6 nights (mistake no 1). Our room was damp and dirty. Sheets and towels grey. Bathroom although new was not clean and had mould everywhere. There was no wifi (as advertised). The swimming pool was dirty and the Jacuzzi empty and full of leaves. The view was onto a beach which resembled a garbage tip.... More

We had a quick stopover in Cochin for one night and decided to stay in Fort Cochin. Old light house Bristow delivers its promise of being the only Heritage Hotel by the beach-side. The Hotel is well located in fort Cochin with Chinese fishing net and good eateries at walkable distances. The Hotel has an amazing view of the beach.... More

the location and the hotel are beautiful, but the running of it chaos, the staff are all very friendly and cant do enough for you, but they dont have a clue, we waited an hour for a coffee round the pool, the steak we ordered for dinner was a burger because they ran out of steak and didnt think the... Stay in a pool villa, which is lovely and spacious with 4 poster bed & sunken bath. The pool is nice but towels badly faded and jacuzzi out if use - stuffed up with old leaves. However, it's a little like staying at Fawlty Towers... The fuse went in the room. Gave the key to the receptionist to fix. He... More

We stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights at the end of March. I had picked the Hotel as the pictures and location met our requirements. On arrival we were greeted with a cold drink and check in took no time at all and were taken to our room which was a large suite on the 1st floor. This was... More

This is a tricky review to write as the place inspires different feelings in me. On the plus side the overall building, position and rooms are lovely. Its got a good pool, albeit with a few missing tiles. The staff are also very friendly and keen to do well. On the minus side, the building needs a lick of paint... More
