This is a three story colonial style building very close to the waterfront and ferry services. Rooms are quiet and large, but dark and drab with flat panel TVs, safes and refrigerators. Ask for a room with a large bed. Mine had two very narrow (narrower than a twin) rock hard beds with covers as narrow as the bed. Bathrooms... More

The hotel is great value and right opposite one of the ferry points. But besides the lovely staff, pool and great wifi, the food in the restaurant is worth eating even if you stay else where. The Kerala Fish Platter is outstanding and so fresh. The rooms are big and the showers great, free newspaper in the morning and all... More

I have NO idea how they got such high reviews on TripAdvisor. None. Look at my prior reviews. I'm usually pretty positive. Really, look at them so you don't think I'm a Debbie Downer. : I don't think I've ever given a terrible review. Terrible almost seems generous here. Let's start with the positive: the a/c worked very well in... More

We stayed here for one night. The room was spotless. I found the beds comfortable. The staff was very helpful! Just note that the directions given on google maps are not completely right. It will just manage to get you near the hotel. When I asked the locals for directions to Killians, not many knew about it. Make sure you... More

we spent 2 nights here during a 2 week tour of Southern India. Our room was large, bright, spotlessly clean and quiet. The property is very well maintained, staff were delightful and attentive. Breakfast was OK, not great but adequate and we had a good meal one night in the restaurant. Definitely a good place to stay in Kochi as... More

We two ladies stayed here Feb 13. Booked through the tour agency as the last stop of an 18 day tour. We were orginally going to be here 2 nights and discovered it is 1 hr and 1/2 from the Cochi airport so we modified it to one night and moved closer for the next. The room was quite large... More

We stayed at Killians for 2 nights. The room was nice, very clean and comfortable; good AC, no mosquitos. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. It's located on the harbor across from the Dutch fishing nets and beach - very convenient for walking. Wifi was reliably available (but slow) in the early morning. The... More

Booked this direct with hotel.Friendly reception staff, especially Nakitha who went out of her way to help us. Room a bit dark but very clean and adequate for short stay and nearby to harbour and Chinese fishing nets. Breakfast limited but adequate. Nearby restaurants aswell.

We booked Killians thorough Expedia and confirmed our reservation by contacting the hotel. Yet, when we arrived, they said they were overbooked and put us in another (lower quality) hotel, and refused to refund us the US $741 we paid for two rooms for two nights. The worst airlines and hotels are honest enough to issue a refund AND upgrade... More

I stayed at Killians for 3 nights last month as part of a tour group ( only 7 rooms, small tour). Unlike all of our previous hotels in India, Killians wifi does not extend to the guest rooms. Even if one is willing to sit in the un-airconditioned lobby, with zillions of mosquitos, the server goes off regularly and has... More
