We arrived there after dark at about 2000 hrs and found our hostess Judith, waiting for us with a big welcoming smile on her face. She knew my son and daughter-in-law from their previous visits, so there was a short reunion and exchange of pleasantries. As we had eaten dinner outside, we settled down in our room for the night. We... More

My husband and I traveled to Kerela in November 2014 and stayed in Kochin for 1N 2D. It was a very short time. Would recommend to stay for at least 3 days. It is a beautiful property located close to all touristy areas- cafe's, restaurants, churches, Chinese fishing nets etc. The rooms are spacious. The owners are warm and helpful.... More

Eden Garden was our first proper stop in Kerala and we loved it! Judith was such a wonderful host, always ensuring we had everything we wanted and even getting up at 3am to ensure we were awake and ready to catch our early morning train! Our room was really comfortable with AC and a fridge to keep our water cool,... More

We were two (I like to think young) women travelling alone on our first trip to India. We were quite apprehensive as we took our first steps in to India but we needn't have worried ... Judith, our host at our first homestay Eden Garden Heritage, was fantastic! She could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. From the moment... More

there again. It seemed a lot of better-off Indians were staying there. The Eden Homestay is recommended mostly by reason of its very cordial and unfailingly helpful hostess, Judith, and her family. It is about one kilometer from the center, an easy walk or short tuk-tuk ride. The rooms are OK. The bathrooms do not have a hot shower, but... More

We stayed at Eden Garden homestay for only a night, but it was enough time to appreciate its quietude (in the middle of a busy part of a busy city), good location, beautiful garden-with-a-pond-with-a-boat and animal / bird farms. The rooms were pretty, cosy and comfortable overall, and we were made a hearty breakfast in the morning by our most... More

Judith, Mel and their family including Mel's father and his wife, were absolutely delightful, they really made us feel like part of the family. We chatted to Mel's father who told us the history of the lovely home and all about the area - we also joined him in watching the commonwealth weight lifting on tv which was great fun!... More

The manager Judith is attentive, caring and welcoming. The garden is as pictured, green and spacious. The kids ran around freely and felt part of the family. The family are there going about their lives and we liked that. The food was delicious and we were always asked what we would like to eat and children were catered for very... More

I booked this Eden Garden Homestay for 2 nights and stayed for 6 nights. This didn't include 2 nights travelling out of Cochin to spend a night on the boats and a further overnight at Munnar. I cannot describe the shear pleasure and hospitality shown to us by the family. Judith is just an angel, she anticipates any requirements and... More
