We only stayed for one night at the Tea Bungalow but really enjoyed it. The room was spotless and tastefully furnished, the bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was a joy with a large, powerful hot shower. The outside area was cute, and the pool was nice to cool off in, although there were quite a few flies in it... More

We stayed here two nights in December 2014. The staff were most helpful and even though we arrived late at night they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and settled. Our room was near the road and we had a lot of traffic noise on the first night. Manager told us that this was due to... More

This is a beautiful hotel, it feels like an oasis of calm tucked away in the heart of historic Cochin. Rooms were wonderful and the pool area was very blissed out, wonderful sound of birds and monkeys when you are swimming! I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I went back to Kochi.

Arrived in Cochin early in the morning and after a pleasant adventurous road trip arrived at the Tea Bungalow. From first sight very attractive location to stay with cool, clean and welcoming features. Our stay was more than pleasant here and the staff extremely willing to support, and help you. Little English is spoken by the workers, but they accommodate... More

This delightful hotel is ideally placed in Cochin, being halfway between the beachfront and the Dutch Palace, Jewish synagogue and the wonderful shops in Jew Town - about a 10-20 minute walk from each. Small and stylish, the ten rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast - served by the swimming pool, is excellent. A pretty garden at the front... More

We stayed here for four nights and loved it the whole time. Our room was incredible (Goa) and with so few rooms we felt like we had the pool to ourselves the whole time. Everything was clean and smelled amazing. Francis, the manager, was exceptional and made sure our stay was perfect the whole time. The staff were all so... More

We spent two nights here as part of a private tour. I can't speak about value for money since I don't know how much it cost but I think this is a cozy option for a stay in Kochi. Pros: • Abundant and tasty made-to-order breakfast including fruit platter, freshly squeezed juice, and the option of an Indian (highly recommended!)... More

This is about ten minutes walk from the centre of Cochin so quieter than the other hotels we saw. The rooms are all different - the Mauritius room is huge and although it does lead to the main hall it has double doors and we didn't hear a thing. The other reviews speak of the room leading onto reception -... More

We stopped at the Tea bungalow for two nights as part of a tour of India. Ideally located to explore Kochin. We stopped in the Mauritius room which was huge! Only thing I didn't like was that the room was in the reception area. Pool very small but fine for cooling off, they have proper sun loungers and umbrellas. Food... More

This is an interesting place and shows that the owners have put their heart in maintaining this place. The staff is very cordial and goes far in making you comfortable at their place. Though slightly on the expensive side, the room quality and service level makes up for it. Each room has been given a different character, so one may... More
