We received a very warm welcome on arrival to the Tea Bungalow Hotel. Our rooms were very spacious and clean. Breakfast was served in the courtyard which was very pretty and relaxing. Staff very helpful. Location of Hotel is very good. I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

I have to say that we were a bit disappointed with the accommodations of this hotel. The website is misleading. The hotel is well situated in Kochi to view the sites. The staff was helpful. Those are the positive things. We had a room on the first floor and we could hear the guests over us the whole evening. Also... More

We stayed in the Tea Bungalow for 2 nights at the beginning of our trip around Kerala, and it was perfect for us. Very good bedroom and bathroom, everything worked well, airconditioning etc. The food was good, we ate in the restaurant one evening (they don't sell alcohol but I think they are happy for you to take your own... Although I cannot afford to stay in this beautiful hotel, being more of a budget traveller myself, it is a great treat to eat in the lovely restaurant and savour such excellent food in such gracious surroundings. Mr.Francis is a first class manager and his staff are attentive to your every need. I look forward to treating myself and my... More

The Tea Bungalow was our first overnight accommodation after a long flight and was very inviting cool and colonial in feel. Our room was not ready so we explored Fort Cochin on foot for a couple of hours and the great location meant we could easily get to the wonderful vibrant waterfront and were even lucky enough to witness the... This was the most expensive place that we stayed on a budget family holiday in India for a month. Really beautiful building being really excellently run. The room was amazing the food was amazing the manager couldn't do enough to help us, it was a brilliant stay with outstanding service, but we did spend £200 in 2 days (1 night)... More

We stayed at the Tea Bungalow in Fort Cochin as it looked like a pleasant colonial building in a good location. So far, so good. The problem for me was that there was not enough attention to detail or care taken for the money being spent. We were staying in shoulder season and so "only" paying US$240 per night. It... More

We only stayed for one night at the Tea Bungalow but really enjoyed it. The room was spotless and tastefully furnished, the bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was a joy with a large, powerful hot shower. The outside area was cute, and the pool was nice to cool off in, although there were quite a few flies in it... More

We stayed here two nights in December 2014. The staff were most helpful and even though we arrived late at night they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and settled. Our room was near the road and we had a lot of traffic noise on the first night. Manager told us that this was due to... More

This is a beautiful hotel, it feels like an oasis of calm tucked away in the heart of historic Cochin. Rooms were wonderful and the pool area was very blissed out, wonderful sound of birds and monkeys when you are swimming! I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I went back to Kochi.
