Saj's homestay in Fort Kochi is wonderful, the rooms are very comfortable and his family is really warm. His older daughter looked after us superbly when Saj and his wife were away for the day. But staying with Saj means more than just another hotel room. He also helped design the perfect trip for us around Kerala. He arranged for... More

Saj and his family are AMAZING. I travelled to Kochi with a friend in July, and despite it being monsoon season, Saj recommended some amazing things for us to do and even helped us book train tickets to Trivandrum. Everything you'd want to see in Fort Kochi is either a walk or short auto rickshaw ride away. I got horrible... More

Saj Homestay is more a boutique hotel than a home stay. The owner Saj does live on the property with his family and he has six guestrooms. We stayed in Room 6, an air-conditioned upper rear room with a private balcony and ensuite. An opportunity for improvement for Saj and this is not meant as a criticism is that the... More

We stayed with Saj and his lovely family in March of this year. Basic very clean rooms freshly cooked breakfast every day. Everything within walking distance. With Saj's help two day tour organised to Munnar and tea plantation with car and driver (Naveen) and dropping us to Alleppey thereafter. One of the highlights of our fantastic stay in Kochi. We... My friend and I were out backpacking in India for a month in summer 2014 and of the dozen or so places we stayed at across the country, Sajhome was far and away the best accommodation, and massively exceeded our expectations. From the lovely gentleman who picked us up at the airport, to the perfect rooms, food and excellent location,... More

By far the best place we stayed in India (on a one month backpacking trip). Saj (the host) was fantastic - he helped us arrange travel within Kochi and the various excursions we undertook and always had a smile on his face. His family were always at hand if we needed any help (including a complementary singing session!). Breakfast was... More

We stayed at Sajhome for 3 nights this July, after looking up the reviews on Tripadvisor. Ideally, this place should be categorized as a B&B, not a hotel. Sajhome is a house, with Saj and his family living on the ground floor of the same house and the 5 rooms on the upper floors are for guests. What we really... More

My friend and I stayed here for one night. The guest house rooms are on the second floor while Saj and his family live downstairs. Conveniently, there is an ATM downstairs as well. For a no frills place, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The free wifi worked great, which is unusual for a guest house (we... More

We started our trip staying with Saj and his family who we found very helpful and informative. Delicious Keralan breakfasts, large and inviting rooms with balcony and in a great central location. Saj recommended places to stay in other areas of Kerala which were also perfect for us. We returned again twice on our trip and every time was greeted... More
