I arrived about 10am after checking out of a horrible hotel for the first night, not many places on princess street would take me for my remaining one night, Waltons seemed surprised but freshened up a room for me in about 5m when I explained what happened. They charged only 1200 rps (off season) for a beautiful room in sort... More

I stayed at Walton's Home Stay twice, over a period of 4 years. Both times, it was the same great experience, though they were 4 years apart. Mr Walton is friendly and inviting, but at the same time is clear about the do's and don'ts. Mrs Walton serves up a very good breakfast every time (after all, its a B&B).... More

We booked based on other reviews and were very happy with the place. Walton himself is an extremely helpful owner who is of Anglo Indian background with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the local history, sights, things to do . Walton is also an interesting person to have a casual conversation with on a range of topics. Useful swap or buy... More

Lovely boutique accommodation extremely well located in Fort Kochi. Very pleasant garden setting with all the accommodation scattered around the garden so it was private and didn't feel too large, and the hosts were very accommodating. The hotel had an artistic quirky feel to it. Lovely room, large, air con good. Quite pared back in style which we liked. Bed... More

This place is quite charming with outside seating. We stayed in a cottage which was spotless. Although the staff are nice they are sometimes quite hard to find. Wifi is also limited 10am to 10pm. We would stay again but only is sonnetta's across the road was full!! The breakfast was the best part at Waltons. L&J

We stayed at Walton's a few weeks back and had a wonderful time. Walton and his wife were very lovely, the rooms were clean and charming, and the location was very convenient. The atmosphere was great, as Walton tends to attract nice people. Wifi was a little spotty but that's part of being in India. Walton even gave us a... More

Mr Walton was extremely helpful and friendly. Pinpointing key attractions on a useful, handwritten map of Kochi upon check-in. The room we had (ground floor) was very clean, and bright. Good bed, TV, wardrobe and bedside cabinets and air-con (optional for an extra charge). Bathroom was clean, with a powerful shower. Toilet, and basin with mirror and towels. A small... More

Mr Walton and his daughter made us very welcome in this beautiful homestay and were extremely helpful in answering questions and making suggestions about plans and arrangements. Centrally located in the old town, it was a peaceful haven with a lovely garden courtyard and a balcony to relax on during the heat of the day. The room was large with... More

Mr Walton sets the tone for your stay in Cochin from behind his desk in the booklined reception area. He is most knowledgeable and helpful. Our room was well appointed, comfortable and quiet. It was sereviced daily. The courtyard garden gave a very homely feel to the place. The breakfasts were good and gave an opportunity for socialibility with fellow... More

Fantastic start to a trip round Kerala. Very well located, close to the Chinese fishing nets, Fort Kochi and other places. Rooms are spacious and clean and we were given a very warm welcome by the owner on arrival. Lots of useful information and recommendations for places to eat. Breakfast was basic but very nicely done.
