I had a lovely few days in this old Dutch house with peaceful garden, just a few minutes walk from the Fort Cochin wharf, with Mrs Walton's lovingly provided breakfast and the knowledgeable Mr Walton's helpful advice.

This was among the best places we stayed in India! Perfect location in the centre of Fort Kochi, easy walking distance to everything. Breakfast included and very nice. Mr Walton was a wonderful host, who was obliging and polite, and provided us with lots of tips for our stay in Kochi, including a hand-drawn map and some advice about the... More

It's a place that seems to combine everything - location right in the middle of Fort Kochi, cosiness, a very friendly welcome with a good instruction of how to use your time in Kochi the best way - and a book shop which belongs to the owner of the homestay.

We were greeted with a warm welcome and given lots of helpful tips and a hand-drawn map of the area. Beautiful rooms (with the most comfy bed yet) and a delicious breakfast to order are included in the price. A fantastic place to stay!

Our room, though small, was attractive, immaculate and air conditioned! The breakfast room is... More

Cosy, friendly, the owner is very helpful, The rooms are pretty and clean. The location is excellent nearby the chinese fishernets, plenty of restaurants of all kind. Great base to start the discovery of Cochin which is a relaxed and not too big Indian city
