Well appointed room with en suite bathroom in a big comfortable house by the sea. The deserted clean beach is only a few meters away, with direct access. Ideal location for a short break. The landlady is an attentive host. We stayed two days at the start of our South India tour and it was relaxing and very enjoyable.

This place is totally NOT worth the money and the hospitality and behaviour of owners will put each person in Malabar region to shame! This was our WORST holiday trip and it is so unfortunate During the stay of 1.5 days(we evacuated ourselves on 2nd day morning itself though she was charging for entire 2 days)as we had no privacy &... I am grateful to destiny for getting warned in advance of what to expect and deciding not to stay in this place. This is supposed to be a home stay which gives you to believe that the family would want to welcome you with open arms. But thats not the feeling what one gets while interacting with the owners son.... More

My partner and I stayed at Shantitheeram for four days in January. We had a wonderful time. The room was clean and beautiful, the beach was tranquil, and the food was unbelievably delicious. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Kerala.

Fabulous food, great hospitality, spotlessly clean rooms and a clean beach almost like a private one! We couldn’t ask for more. Food was just the right type of home-cooked and tasty food I was looking forward to. My favourite amongst the food- the mouth-watering seafood. To top it all, the true north Kerala hospitality. Every effort is made by the... More

My wife and I stayed there on our honeymoon and had a very nice experience. Homemade food was varied and excellent. Room was very nice and clean, with beautiful balcony view on the beach and the coconut trees of the property. We would recommend this homestay to people wanting to relax for a short period near the beach.
