A very nice & clean budget hotel at the heart of Mangalore city. The famous landmark of this hotel is called as Jyothi Circle. The hotel has ample parking & is well maintained. It has completed more than 50 + years & the interiors reminds about our childhood day's old styled furniture & floorings. The whole hotel look is positive... More

This is a good hotel to stay and eat. It provides unlimited traditional south indian lunch/dinner at Rs.50 only per person. The location and surrounding area are very nice. Ample parking space and calm atmosphere makes it worth staying.

We are here for 2 nights..this is a cost-effective hotel which is located in a very strategic location -its close to the market, city center mall,KMC and some temples. Planned to stay in this hotel, but couldn't get booking, stayed in some other hotel and went to have food at the restaurant. Hotel is located in centre of the city, with ample parking space. But the restaurant wasn't kept clean, tissue papers were left under the table, tea / coffee strains on the floor, dirt along the corners. Didn't... More

During last week of Feb 2013, my wife had to attend a conference in Mangalore. So we started hunting for a decent accomodation for 2 days and we werent keen booking a expensive stay considering the short duraion. Finally, we zeroed in on Woodlands Hotel. Its a old style hotel and serves good typical Mlore veg food at reasonable price.... More

We were looking for a pure veg meal in Mangalore and Google Maps directed us to Hotel Woodlands' restaurant on Burns Hostel Road. We tried both south Indian and north Indian food in the restaurant. The south Indian food they served was palatable, but they just could make proper north Indian food - used the same gravy for all curries/veggies.... More

We went with family on a temple trip to in and around Mangalore and we chose this property essentially because we were looking for hotels that are purely vegetarian. It fully met our requirements. It is an efficiently run hotel with 30 rooms, both A/C and Non A/c. We noticed that the local people treat this hotel as a drive... More
