We had visited this property in February along with our friends. Though the place is a bit away from the town, in no way did we feel isolated, since it is so well stocked. The best feature of the place is the hospitality. We were warmly received as soon as we entered, and once we checked in, shown around happily by... More

I went there earlier this week - 18-21st May with my wife and daughter and we had a very relaxing stay. Coffee Bean is in a beautiful location and you get a full dose of nature at its best. You are surrounded by trees and flowers, you eat a variety of vegetables and fruits grown on the estate and the... More

Coffeebean Homestay is located some 22 kms from the town of Chikmagalur. The road leading up to Mallandur is pretty smooth, the last couple of kms leading to the property is not paved, but manageable without much trouble. The highlight of the place is clearly its location. Once you enter the property you are cut off from the rest of... More

We stayed at Coffeebean for a night on 14 April. Booking the cottage was easy. We started from Bangalore at 6 am. When we just crossed Belur Nishchit called and advised us to visit Belur temple and Belavadi temple. We turned back and visited Belur temple and next day on return trip visited the Belavadi temple. Most visit Belur, but... More

We went with our 6 month old daughter from Bangalore for her first road trip. We were of course super vigilant to her needs. And Coffee Bean folks were such a relief. Ruchika and Nishchit - our hosts - gave us much personalized attention. Always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we need. Mahesh the caretaker was awesome... More

Visited coffee-bean with friends and family last week. The stay was wonderful thanks to great hospitality. The place has big open spaces for children and adults to really unwind with nature. We stayed at cottages, Kumkuma and Arisana, interiors were good with big terrace facing the coffee plantation. A trek in the morning around the coffee estate was quite refreshing.... More
