The closest restaurant to the Hessarghatta grasslands, Taj Kuteeram is a visually appealing place with average food (buffet) for hungry mouths. No complaints about cleanliness of the food but the overall hygiene of the terrace has room for improvement. SImilarly for service - best recommended for families with kids - but expect only the basics here. The place boasts of... More

Plan for a day outing. Good part Staff is courteous. Area is peaceful and ideal for people who love gardening. Nrityagram is good. They charge 50rs as entrance fee to watch odissi dancer practice but its worth spending time there then kuteeram which will remind you of stone age. Sad part Rooms need attention. Not suitable for kids. Beds and... More

Very picturesque and at home feel. Staff is very friendly. Vinod,Tripathi and couple of others took care of our food down to the tee. Simple place to reside but its the people who make your stay worthwhile. The manager is very friendly and is willing to listen to you. Vinod make a nice choco mousse whose taste still lingers in... This was our 5th or 6th visit to Taj Kuteeram (and Nrityagram, which was the primary purpose initially, but soon Taj became primary). the weather was awesome and that complemented the experience! Best part about this place is the serene, calm n 'away from the city' kind of feeling that you get once you are in Hessarghatta... And it is... More

It is next to nityagram and grassland. If we combine these 2 with stay in Kuteeram then it is excellent trip. Resort is average and service is pretty average. Spend time in grassland for photography. This is best at this place. You can get one of the best landscape picture here. Enjoy travelling near to bangalore. HAVE A NICE TRIP!... More

The hotel was a part of Nrityagram; leased by Taj in the year 2000. What I liked: 1. Smallest and cheapest Taj hotel. Appreciate Taj's commitment to running small hotels. 2. Rustic and eco friendly resort. Stone roof, red oxide floor, all things artistic. 3. Food is good. Breakfast is made to order (included in room tariff), dinner is set... More

A small hotel set in the middle of rolling fields and across from a cultural landmark with beautiful architecture, lush greenery, fine food, and impeccable service - truly a renewing few days at Taj Kuteeram for our group of five looking to escape city life, albeit briefly. The open-plan restaurant overlooks a huge tree and a pond with honking geese.... More

The resort, and its neighborhood, is an excellent place to get away from the noise, pollution, and crowds. It is just about 40 km from Bangalore , but feels like a different world. We went for a day trip, but in retrospect, it would have been much better if we had stayed the night, to enjoy the early morning bird... More

My friend took us to this place and we did not even know about it while stay in Bangalore. The best resort in terms of simplicity and service. Excellent staff and wonderful food to top it all. It is a weekend getaway for my family once every month from now on...... Don't miss visiting this at least once.
