I have stayed in this hotel on 2 occasions. It'a like a heritage property with staff who look like they have been there for years. The room was nice & comfortable and the location is a biggest plus point. It's right next to the happening Brigade road with some great eating places in and around.
The breakfast was a let down though. Very minimalistic and simple.
Apart from this, I liked this place.

Stayed for 4 nights. Clean hotel. Nice location.
Infrastructure poorly maintained. First night was spent with a conked air conditioning which left us feverish. Next day the fridge had to be changed. Third day WiFi didn't work and GM explained it was complementary.
OK buffet breakfast. But good food otherwise. The bearer at Roomali restaurant was rude. Services there pathetic. Invited daughter for breakfast and for 360rs she got were idlis, French toast & few pieces of watermelon. They couldn't replenish food items even after half hour
Roy at the reception was outstanding. Was friendly and helpful. One silver lining.

I've stayed at Highgates before, and it has always been a happy experience. The location is excellent, the service is courteous and prompt, the rooms are comfortable, and the price is very competitive, particularly given the prime location.

There is ample car parking, and the wifi works fine. There are 3 restaurants inside the hotel providing room service. All in all, it's a very good place to stay in.

High gates was chosen by us because of it is location , But the stay diss appointed us very much . The rooms in the hotel are so small that you will not have space to keep your baggage's . Rooms in the hotel are really smelly and the bed covers are full of stain marks, there is no pint having an Ac in the room it does not work always and the room service do not bother about it in spite of complaining repeatedly . Front desk person is one of the rudest human , he speaks to us as if we are staying in the hotel for free . I strongly will not recommend this hotel to any one , even if they give you huge discounts this hotel is not worth it .

Amazing stay experience here. The staffs were pleasant and helpful. The crowd here are pretty decent and we can experience a quality stay here in all sense.
The location is even better to note with all shopping centres and landmarks. The metro rail accessibility was something interesting which made it look apt after picking this hotel.
The rooms are well-maintained and clean; bedsheets are changed only once in two days.
Good WiFi strength. The renovation of the kitchen and decors are going on at one end at present with flowers yet to come and later it can be tagged as a romantic hotel as well I suppose with the complete set of decors. Superb experience being here.

An amazing hotel and I am still at a loss as to how I missed it in the past. Very convenient location, close to the Mahatma Gandhi Road, the open space in front and the restauarant in that area give a breath of fresh air.Rooms are spacious with excellent room service. The food ,both chinese and Indian were fabulous and the staff there were courteous and helpful.Wil be my favorite place in Bangalore and am proud to recommend it to anyone.

This hotel was part of our tour package. The location of the hotel is the plus point which is in the heart of the city near M G Road. All other areas are in walk able distance. The famous brigade rd which is shopping destination, malls, Vittal Mallya Rd and even Hard Rock Cafe is also very near, about rooms, although small but were very clean and amenities given in the room were also working very nicely. Buffet Breakfast spread was good and tasted decent. All n all this is really very nice & well maintained place for stay .
Excellent hotel in Central Bangalore. I was in the city for business. Functional rooms, prompt service, good food, polite staff, safe and clean. Everything one could look for in a hotel. Highly recommend. The staff provided an excellent, professional service and were very helpful and courteous.

We had a nice and relaxing stay ,location is excellent ...right in the centre of all eateries and shopping as well! rates offered are good too. Breakfast becomes monotonous after a couple of days but that is common in all hotels....

I am an industry professional, and ex-hotelier and now a solutions provider to hotels. I have not stayed in this hotel yet but frankly will not even prefer staying here.

The GM here Mr Kennedy Victor probably the rudest and ignorant person in the industry I have come across.

Had called him in regards to some business and was proposing to stay in for the while of my business at his hotel. This man Said "ok Thank you so much ill Call you back" while I am speaking to him and requesting for stay arrangements in his hotel.

This is last probable thing you can do with a to be guest ever, and a confirmed 3 room nights business.

Judging from all other negative reviews in regards to this place and my own sour experience with man running the show here my advise to other is simple "AVOID HIGHGATES"
