Stayed there for one night in September, 2014 while on way from Leh to Manali. Afternoon was sunny and warm but much colder evening than expected. Located quite a bit far from the lake, this place is avoidable (seems to be average of the worst) PROS: none CONS: - located 0.4 kms away from the lake, with limited lake views - basic camps, with poor material (torn canvas material, with holes), no shelves, poor beds, no attached bath/toilets. With all honesty, do NOT stay here!! Especially if you are an Indian National as they treat only Fair Skinned customers with some sort of dignity. We stayed here for a night and even though the entire camp was vacant, we were offered the smaller tent without attached bathroom. It was too small to accommodate three of us.
