The room(No. 408) is clean but there is a lot of noise. A Hindus Temple is in front of the Hotel. Every 4:30 AM, a man sing a song loudly. There is located 3~4km from Dal Lake. A supermarket is near the Hotel.

This hotel is over a shopping mall, which has a ATM @ ground floor also. Food quality in no doubt great. Try the buffet in Dinner and breakfast. As I stayed in a suite, I can say that you will get a traditional feeling with trendy touch. But water and soda bottles in the mini fridge in not complimentary...

The hotel is housed in a building having shops in 2 lower floors and hotel rooms on third & 4th floor. The hotel reception, however, has a counter in the ground floor lobby - 4 floor high atrium. The hotel rooms were extremely large and many rooms had a double bed + a single bed. Although the hotel was under... More

The overall ambience, reception, spacious well naturally lit rooms deserves some applause. Although food and the service is just any average. But the kind of wide isolated reception was something one would yearn to see in the midst of crowded holiday destinations these days!!!!

Stayed in this hotel from 2nd till 4th Jan. Rooms are average. It is expensive for what it offers. Rooms are ok. The heating was always an issue. Food id is ok. I would recommend this hotel to the people who want to be on the heart of the city.

We had to stay at Residency hotel by default since our flights got cancelled due to heavy snowfall in Srinagar. Fortunately I had exchanged some e-mails with them few months ago ( we were considering staying here, then ) and the petite Ms. Saumiya retrieved those mails and offered us an excellent rate. The location of this hotel is central... More

This hotel is situated in the heart of Srinagar. The rooms are large and spacious . BUT hot water was not available round the clock. the room service and food quality is just average . Feel the room rates are on the higher side..

this hotel is a typical Government Hotel, and i will reconfirm that Governments shouldn't run hotels. Rooms are old with carpets smelling like anything. Only rooms which are in New Block Air conditioned ones are good to stay. However Hotel has a huge parking space and is situated right in the main market; few steps away from famous Raghunath Temple.

Residency hotel is actually turned into a mall now. So the experience is of entering a mall with shops till three floors and the rest three floors are hotel rooms. They gave us shabby rooms and the worst was the bed. It was so so hard that I've never had such bad bed which u can never sleep. When I... More

This is decent hotel, and there are some little facts you have to get nailed down & used to before and while you are there. The hotel is quiet centrally located, having great access to the city, just off the main streets. It is part of a small mall (well can’t be compared to the big malls of the metros)... More
