I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Contrary to other reviews, our stay was very comfortable. The hotel has an excellent location and the view of the garden and the Tawi river from our room on the second floor was a delight. Every morning I looked out the window to marvel at the view: sun coming up from behind the... More

An excellent property as far as location & View is concerned. Old Building of Maharajah of Jammu converted into hotel . On the banks of Tawi river and the view from the lawns, lobby and rooms is fabulous. You can see the Trikuta Hills. Lobby is decorated as per Heritage / Maharajah style, very nice. Rooms are also spacious and well... More

The hotel has been renovated (and still in the process )to a good standard. Right from the reception staff to the room service and dinning staff ; cannot fault the service. Within minutes our requests were sorted. The Manager of the hotel Mr Sanjay is a humble and efficient leader and it reflects in the ethos of the hotel overall!... More

I thought it would be some " nice palace" kind experience. I was horrified to see that beyond the external beauty there is total disappointment every where . The rooms are falling apart . In the room are ancient TV sets . The food is very ordinary . I was very disappointed at my choice of coming so far from... More

Visited this lovely locale again for drinks and dinner. This was just post the heavy rains and when the Tawi was in spate. The view from the lawns was stupendous. We did not go to the main restaurant and decided to have our drinks and meal in the bar. The Polo Bar as its called is excellent. The service actually... More

First and foremost, please understand that you will not be staying at the palace, but the building next to it. I stayed here for a night, and there is something wrong with the staff, they seem to be untrained! And this is one reason why I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY AT THIS PROPERTY amongst many other reasons: My... More

Right from a great scenic and a unique entrance to the hotel to a luxurious lobby with staff greeting you warmly and clean and comfortable rooms offering you a great hillside view this hotel definitely made our Pilgrim to the Vaishno Mata temple a relaxing and a joyful one. Nice food and hospitality shown by the staff is an icing..
