Hari Niwas Palace is a fantastic property with a scenic view all around. it was my sixth visit to the hotel and the experience each time has been fantastic. The staff is very courteous and they make you feel at home. Kudos to the management for keeping the place so neat and clean. There is always a scope of improvement... More

This is actually the Jammu palace of the erstwhile rulers of Jammu & kashmir that has now been converted into a hotel. We had a function with family, friends, colleagues etc on the 13th April at the Royal Retreat in this Hotel. Good service and great ambience. Being a vegetarian, I particularly liked their concept of a Paneer Shawarma, a... More

We were booked to stay at the hotel from 6th April- 7th April. We reached the hotel at 1445 hrs, looking forward to a relaxing day but it didn't turn out that way. We were made to wait for over 25 min for the room and with no information given to us as to how much time it would take... More

Little far from Jammu Town, on way to Srinagar /Katra. In the compound of Amar Mahal Museum. With lawns and beautiful river view. Maintained, little pinch on the pocket but worth. Would recommend staying here if your budget allows. Big spacious rooms.

With a view like Hari Niwas (esp. in their lawns), You'd want to stay there like forever. Spacious rooms, complete windows on one of the side wall. With the Tawi river on one side and hills in the rear; its a treat to the eyes. The museum of the Maharaja looks like Scottish cottages. Room service isn't very great. Buffet... More

As for the price you pay for the stay, I would say the hotel is just OK, nothing fancy. A big plus is the view river view from the garden. Nice and unobstructed. Also it is also not a "true" palace turned hotel or maybe a newly constructed palace. Either way, there is no palace feel inside. The rooms are... More

Hari niwas Jammu has mind blowing location with lawns and open views. The rooms and food need improvement but one can sit the whole day in their gardens and enjoy the views. Recommend for a stay in Jammu
