Right from a great scenic and a unique entrance to the hotel to a luxurious lobby with staff greeting you warmly and clean and comfortable rooms offering you a great hillside view this hotel definitely made our Pilgrim to the Vaishno Mata temple a relaxing and a joyful one. Nice food and hospitality shown by the staff is an icing..

I just came in to visit the museum , but its closed on mondays so don't be fooled like me, The hotel is next to it and shares equally a magnificent cliff view of the jammu valley. Did not stay here went fr a brunch. The chicken kathi kebab was awesome , special thanks to chef and the very helping... More

We went to the restaurant for dinner, which is served in the lawns along the river view. The location is excellent and the service is also reasonably good however the food is just about good/Average. But the location makes up for it ! Recommended. The Spa was not functional when we visited and has been undergoing repairs/restoration for almost a... More

Although I had stayed in Fortune but was at hotel Hari niwas palace in Jammu to attend a marriage. I was in the hotel for two whole days and had seen many rooms. It is a heritage hotel with excellent location overlooking a river valley. Location may not be suitable if you are on a business trip. It is little... More

Overall this hotel wasn't bad, and a welcome sanctuary from the blazing heat outside, but its a bit tired round the edges. We stayed in June (exterior temperature 48 degress C!) The staff were very good, friendly and helpful, the location is amazing on the edge overlooking a river valley but the whole place was a bit shabby and worn.... More

We stayed in hotel Hari niwas palace in Jammu and only enjoyed the lovely views this hotel offers as besides the views it has nothing much to offer. Rooms are just functional, food and service are below par. Infact there is so much of scope for improvement that this can be one of the best hotel in town but the... More

Lovely locale, between Jammu and Nagrota. The grounds are extremely well laid out. Was there for a meal with friends and colleagues. Average food, average service, the cost of the meal was reasonable. The overall experience would have been better if the meal was worth it.

Hotel Hari Niwas Palace in Jammu has an amazing location overlooking wonderful views. We went for a meal as we had gone to see the museum. The food and service leaves much to be desired as both are below par. It is a perfect case of wonderful location wasted!

This property is part of the estate of the founding family for the state, ambassador to the U.S. etc to its pedigree. You expect good and its got an amazing location in Jammu. Beautiful simple, and elegant grounds. The meal was surprisingly very reasonably priced given the overall facility. The starting rates for rooms are also a pleasant surprise and... More
