Great stay, good food. Serene and peaceful. Just loved the back balcony which has a great view of the wild. From the be front you can see the snow peaked mountains which makes it memorable and make you feel that you are in a hill station even during summers.

I had a stay at Mayflower, Manali in last week of Dec'13. Myself & my family had a wonderful stay. The hotel is very well maintained. The wooden floor & finishing is awsome. The room size is truly large, something that we are not at all used to have in Indian tourism. The sit out areas are also specious, spic... More

We arrived at lunch time for a 2 night stay & there very few occupants. There are good solid rooms in a pretty well maintained hotel that backs onto a forest. There is plenty of space & there are none of the plumbing & electrical hassles we had grown accustomed to in India. We were given a much needed heater... More

the hotel a bit at the outskirts of manali at cosy and quiet place, right at the edge of a nice forest. it's worth to be a bit of the downtown, because manali is a huge tourist trap for the indians. the hotel is about 50 years old, but well maintrained. it's a bit dark in the rooms but they... Nice building although I wouldn't call it a heritage building as per an earlier posting. Friendly helpful staff, good food in restaurant but not all menu items available. Our room looked out through a lovely wooded forest - just delightful. Highlight was probably the simply beautiful homemade jams - made from locally grown fruit - simply delicious!

Mayflower is a very nice heritage property close to Mall Road in Manali. Stayed for few nights last month and had a great experience. Only complaint is the continuous noise from the manu temple road during the night. Well maintained and great service. We were a bit disappointed as restaurant did not have nearly half of the items on the... More

Mr. Negi (the owner) seems to be man of taste, which has very well translated into the aura of the hotel. Some people might say there is not much to the decor, but for me it is just about perfect. What you get there is not too cluttered and nicely maintained - whatever the time of your visit, you will... More

We stayed at the Mayflower after an arduous two week trek. It was a welcoming hotel with charming and helpful staff. The hotel has lovely wooden floors, fireplaces and large comfortable rooms. We appreciated the baths and hot water and the beer in the garden. We had local trout for supper which was good and the staff got up early... More

I stayed here with my wife from 29th May to 1st June. We did not make any reservations yet, the hotel staff was kind enough to provide us with a room. The hotel is excellent value for money, nice location, great wood panel furnishing, and great hospitality. The waiter in the hotel was especially nice and gracious. He also gave... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
In a town overflowing with characterless hotels, this handsome, unpretentious and comfortable option is a relief to find. Rooms are massive, with wooden floors & paneling rocking chairs by the fireplace. There is even cold - weather "comfort" food such as bread pudding and apple pie. Hot water in bath-fulls, and an open fire in the dining room too, where you are in the sort of wood lined rustic simplicity that reminds you of the Alps. ... more   less
