as its in old manali.. but trust me its 100 times worth than any other hotel in old manali.. i had my great experience to stay in the HOUSE... it was quite , silent and in the middle of the nature... for me a presonne like nature lover love to visit that house again and again ... wake up early... poeple are very nice and the room are confortable and clean. We have a very nice view and the restaurant is very good! It's the best place in old Manali! And the correspondance office Himalayan frontiers he's very serious , experienced for trekking or other activities! I recommend!

We stayed two nights here. Very quiet area, the neighbours are just local village families and many cows.We stayed at the top floor (1200r) and had some nice mountain views (when it wasnt raining). Although a bit on the pricey side for old Manali, this hotel is well worth it. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and nicely decorated room and bathroom, plenty of hot water, nice food, great views.

We stayed in the Himalayan Country House and loved it. Although it's a bit of a hike up the hill from Old Manali (bring your torch), this is more than compensated for by the fact that it is actually inside the Old Manali village, and your sleep will be accompanied by the sounds of Yaks, local weddings and village life.... Very nice and cordial place in the old village of Manali. A good place to stay if you stay in Kulu valley or go to to Ladakh. Fine Indian family cooking... The guest house is open from april to the end of october
