I guess the title speaks for itself. A place you can come to, switch off your phones and just enjoy the peace and tranquility. Being in the heart of old manali, this place gives you a real feel at what hills are all about without sacrificing the facilities if you are one of those who can't stay away from outside... More

everything about this place is the best, food, ambiance, stay, value for money... if you are in Old Manali do check out this place. sometimes they also invite musicians for acoustic evenings. the only problem is that they don't have ample parking. All in all it was a great experience.

Dear Guest, Thanks for visiting us. And even bigger thanks for remembering us here. Parking is a problem all over Manali town. And it becomes even more acute during the high traffic summer months. However, we do try ensure parking slots for our resident guests. We hope you will visit us again - Chandigarh isnt that far :) Best wishes... More

I spent two weeks last summer in this quiet, charming abode and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the lengths the staff would go to make one feel at home. Bang on on cleanliness and quality of food they serve! I'll recommend it with pleasure and can't wait to go back.

Drifter's is conveniently located right in the middle of the backpacking district of Old Manali. We stayed here in August 2014 on our way to Ladakh. For the price it the best hotel there, the rooms are clean and convenient. But the best part was the cafe cum restaurant on the ground floor. They have a great ambiance with awesome... More

Having stayed at Drifter's way back in 2012, I went there again last November as a solo traveller and it was as delightful as back then. It's a beautiful hike from the main market and easily accessible by vehicles as well. The owner, Nishant is a wonderful, gregarious guy and will make sure your stay is memorable and comfortable. The... More

Dear Guest, Nothing gives us more pleasure than to welcome earlier guests come stay with us again. Thank you for continued patronage. Its super encouraging for us. I stayed in Manali for a few weeks and the owner, Nishant, was very friendly. The food was simply excellent, the ambience very relaxed; a compromise between what Western travellers are accustomed to and the local way of life - that is, real, friendly and simple. The service was friendly and absolutely non-intrusive. The restaurant hotel has wifi and numerous... More

Now, before I put across my feedback , let me make it clear , I've got NO personal grudges against the hotel, but the review is based on my own experience. Pathetic , to start with , the guy who runs the guest house is a high headed ego maniacal, very biased , majorly entertaining the guests of the hotel,... More

Hey, Thanks for writing in... however you've wrongly posted this review to our Guest House page... you never stayed with us and thus are commenting only on our Cafe business. And you are right - we do not welcome drunk guests. Local, Indian, International. Period. Now to specifically revert on your 2 reported incidents. 1. No we do not serve... More

First of all I need to tell I was not able to stay in Drifters due to unavoidable circumstances. But I must review their customer service. Their customer service is really good.
