Was misled into thinking this is a value for money hotel but with rooms starting at 1200 a night this isn't for ur average backpacker. Expensive but nice rooms. Expensive but nice food. If ur on a "shoe string budget" as the owner called it looking for rooms 400-500 a night try the tiger eye hotel not far from it.... More

If you are one of those kind, who don't require too much room service and would require a decent place to relax and laugh out with friends, then drifters is the place to be. me and my wife enjoyed the stay as we were kind of expecting the same, the cafe had a decent ambience, food was good (except for... There were major power issues on day 1, but they were sweet enough to offer hot water when required, and a charging point for our phones. The food was amazing and the rooms were quite cozy. The entire staff was very helpful and hospitable. They were happy to give out information and suggest places on their own. The owner gave... More

If you're looking for a budget trip, Drifters In is the place to be. Please don't expect 5 start service but simple, VFM, warm & friendly hospitality. Not for the finicky travellers. If you're looking for a place to relax and switch off, without constant disturbance in the name of house-keeping, you better check-in to Drifters. Went at a friend's... More

Excellent food with nice cozy ambience. Must visit place in manali. Trout and chicken with stuffed mushrooms are excellent. Great, keep it up. Puneet as a server is excellent. Sitting in cafe and can't stop my self writing about it.

About the Cafe - Amazing, hospitable and helpful staff. Food was good, interiors were nice and cozy, wifi inside the cafe was good. About Accommodation: I would have rated it terrible had the staff been as rude and inconsiderate as the owner of Drifter's Inn. We entered in our room at Drifters Inn and it was stinking. The extra bedding... More

let me use this opportunity to again describe the kind of place we are. - we allow smoking in all our rooms. most of old manali regulars are smokers. sorry if you find the lingering smell a stink. - all our rooms have carpeted floors. we offer mattress and bedding on the carpeted floor as extra bed. we do not... My wife Monika and I were tired of the daily regime at work, and our souls were demanding a vacation. A Getaway to the hills was a perfect plan put across by her...and I agreed. We started researching, where, how, and how much. And finally we zeroed in on Manali. Plus we were very influenced by some of our close... More

I'd first like to address some of the negative reviews left about drifters. Many people have complained about not being shown to their seats. This idiocy is overwhelming, and an indication that these people did not understand the pace of Manali at all. In Manali, you sit where you like! Seeing as you're reading this, you probably already know that... More

I had come to Manali to ride solo through the Himalayas (and touch Rohtang Pass) and to find some peace and quiet. Drifters' was recommended to me by a friend. Good rooms. Awesome staff. Really good food. But the ambience takes the cake. I have the fondest memories of this place. One of them is the staff making me a... More
