We have just returned from the mini vacation at Camabay Gandhinagar. Its a memorable trip. As we all went for a change and had lovely time. My kids enjoyed the stay & food. My daughter who is 4 yrs young didn't wanted to checkout on the cantrary was telling me that why can't we stay here for 6 month, ah...... more

Perhaps the only decent hotel in Gandhinagar area. The Room was good and had the facilities of a normal 5 star property. It has an inhouse spa. The restuarant is good. Overall a good value for money place. Enjoyed the experience. more

It was a fun filled stay for 2 days. Tried my hand at some golf, and got a long spa treatment. Very relaxing indeed. They also had a mini theater where they arranged a movie screening for us. The cambay Spa and Resort at Gandhinagar, Gujarat is the best hotel in Gandhinagar, capital of Gujarat. My stay at the cottage room was quite comfortable with the facilities and services provided within the rate paid for. Due to business appointments, I could not use its spa, golf or the gymnasyum. more

Food and Spa is good but services and other things are really poor. Swimming pool is in worst condition. There were insect swimming inside and no filtering on it. Watch out and think twice before making a trip. more

I stayed at the Cambay resort in February 2008 to attend a national conference. On the last day to my shock the staff had emptied my room in my absence, without even informing me, and dumped my luggage including my expensive jacket in the foyer. Was in Ahmedabad at the Cambay Resort and Spa for a conference. It is a long way from the airport - 45-60 minutes depending on traffic. Compared to other Indian hotels, this one is OK, but it is a long way off European/North American standards.
