I have been to this resort three times. The first time was excellent and the food was awesome but over the next two trips it deteriorated. The rooms are well maintained. The sea is walking distance but no water sport activities close by. The staff is well mannered. Its ideal for honeymooners and family. more

This was our first time in South Goa having been many times to North Goa. Our first impression of the hotel was very good, we were greeted at reception with a cold drink and a paint spot on our forehead from a goan lady. After a quick check in we were taken to our room which was on the ground... more

Coconut Grove resort Has a european standards .The place was absolutely beautiful. We got the deluxe rooms, I think they're renovated and absolutely clean and gorgeous! The service was prompt and attentive. Our room had a little patio that opened out onto the lawns. It was an amazing place to stop in Goa,Breakfast is very good and again staff superb.... more

Frequent user of this site but never bothered to review until now. I've read on here that "you have to remember where you are" when considering the amenities as in 'what do you expect, you're in India'. Now Im sure these people are well meaning but probably don't realise how offensive that is to Indians. I have had the pleasure... more

Coconut Grove is a small- 35 room- hotel situated just 1 field away from the beach (just 1 stall selling tourist gear staffed by Hamish & his side kicks) . And what a beach. Perfect clean sand. Warm sea with gentle waves. Enough locals to maintain interest but not so many as to weary those seeking rest. Excellent sunbeds are... more

OVERVIEW My husband and I visited Goa for the first time 30th November to 14th December 08 and on the strength of the T.A. reviews chose this hotel to stay in for two weeks B+B and we were not disappointed. Previous reviews hinted that this hotel would suit the over 60’s (which we certainly are not) I would say it... more

We enjoyed a lovely holiday in a beautiful setting at this hotel. It is not a place for people who want plenty of night life, but is perfect for a peaceful tranquil escape from a busy lifestyle. The rooms are not over large but comfortable the service excellent.,there is a good restaurant but we also enjoyed very good value beautifully cooked meals at... more

Just returned from our second stay (see previous review) and it is not quite as good as it used to be. We have been to Goa sveral times and from our experience the hotels are great when first built but then slowly go downhill. In our opinion coconut grove is just on the turn from great to average. Whilst cheap... more

After having a nightmare time in calangute,we thought we would go to the south for the real Goa.I had seen coconut grove on travel company websites and it looked quiet and understated.Indeed it was.As soon as we stepped into the clean modern rooms(with plasma tv for the teenagers, and us)and walked through the well cared for and colourful gardens a sense... more

Although I initially had reservations due to their slightly out of date website, everything about Coconut Grove made for the most perfect getaway with my girlfriend. First off, if you're looking for the typical tourist getaway, this is not it. The resort itself is in Betalbatim beach in South Goa. This is quite a bit away from the tourist hotspots... more
