Santana Beach Resort (Candolim) is central in many ways. You can conveniently head out to North or South Goa. The staff is extremely friendly. The buzz is just around the corner. Calangute, Baga & Pajani are minutes away (if you take the right routes). Taj Village (next door) is a pleasant experience. Fort Aguada is just an out of the... more

I am interested in the resort however we are independent travellers. Does anyone have a contact number for the hotel so that I could book direct. I have been to Goa many times and this hotel sounds excellent Cheers more

After a momentous journey via Mumbai (Avoid if you can) we arrived at the Santana. Firstly, our impressions of India were not positive. The litter and hygiene is an issue which you as a traveller must get over very quickly as there is no solution to this big problem...The Santana is real oasis in the midst of this chaos. On... more

My family and I have just returned from a fortnight at the Santana Beach Resort and we had a fantastic time. When we first arrived I was a little unsure of what to expect even though I had read all the really positive reviews. My teenage children's room smelt a little musty as if it needed a good airing (though... more

Having been coming to Goa for 15 years, I was very glad to find this Hotel. I used to stay at Casa Romero, but when it closed I had to find somewhere else. Sonnesta Inns was my first choice but is too expensive for me, and the food, uck. Last year I stayed at Victor Exotica, (not good) so this... more

I would just like to ditto the remarks in the last review. Everything was wonderful, staff, rooms, breakfast, pools, cleanliness, gardens - everything that is apart from the beach and sea in front of the hotel shack (Calamari). This of course is the scandal that is due the River Princess running aground a few years ago and eroding this end... more

One week holiday that has converted me to Goa. Much of that is down to the stay at Santana Beach where the staff are the best I have come across in many years of travelling. Nothing is too much trouble and, as one of the party was ill all week they could not have been more helpful, making sure that... more

Stayed here for two weeks during february 09, having visited goa 5 times I have a good idea what to look out in a hotel in the area for as I have stayed in various places including 5 * Taj holiday village and 2* donna alcina. Paid £20 a night through travel republic which was money well spent. The room... more

Recently stayed in Santana with my 11 months old son and my extended family. I was really nervous before reaching the hotel because it was his first leisure (!) trip since birth and he has not yet started having any outside food. Exchanged quite a few emails with Leanne and requested two rooms next to each other. And boy..what a... more
