The Falaknuma palace is a royal abode for its guests. They make you feel special. A special mention for jithin in food and beverage and dinesh in housekeeping department. A must visit and stay if possible when you are in Hyderabad.

Do you ever wonder what it would be like to go back in time and live like the extravagant Nizams? At the time this palace was completed in late nineteenth century, the Nizam of Hyderabad was the richest man in the world until he was surpassed by John D. Rockefeller. But unlike Rockefeller, who was a newly minted millionaire created... More

From the horse drawn buggy that takes you into the palace, to the amazing service as you get down, the exquisitely restored property is genuinely amazing! What is perhaps the best part of this is that every room that has been meticulously restored is open for guests to use! So you can sip your drink in the Jade room, play... More

Taj Falaknuma Palace Hotel is as it says is a Palace of the Nizam now a Taj Hotel. Wonderful property. Well restored by one of the Begums of Nizam. The main building has the historical rooms kept as they were in good old days. In the courtyard are 60 odd rooms well appointed with modern facility. And then at the... More

As the name suggests this palace property is so luxurious that you are mesmerized the moment you enter the premises. Security gate leads you to the main clock tower which is supposed to be the main entrance, from where you board the baggi / golf cart through which you are taken to the main palace. The first look of the... More

Taj Falaknuma is a must experience for people who value history. A palace converted to a Palace Hotel by Taj over a period of 10years lives up to it's advertising. The huge Palace grounds have virtually everything one expects from an expensive property. Some parts like the Coronation Hall were being done up when we visited. The 101 seater dinner... More

A recent dinner at the Taj’s Falaknuma Palace didn’t disappoint. The city lights were beautiful from the terrace. The half-hour tour of the Nizam’s Palace was wonderful, and Taj has done a spectacular job restoring it. I was fascinated by the books, clocks, and the mechanical organ. We had reservations for the 9:30pm seating at Adaa, and didn’t leave until... More

We recently spent two nights here, and we could not fault the hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. All the staff were attentive without being obtrusive, and we were made to feel welcomed by everyone. The hotel is spectacular, and the room was luxurious, and we lacked for nothing. Both restaurants served delicious food,in beautiful surroundings. The... More
