I stayed there in May last year on my honeymoon, this was our 2nd Hotel. The property is amazing and the staff is very good. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and have a classy look. Price is also not too much that you can spend, and yeah its a Govt property. Its hard to get room here. There is not much... More

Its very old Hotel by Andaman Tourism. Has good mess / canteen / restaurant. Rooms are fair, only thing one should take care is of stair case. This is not multi storey building. Some sites are closer to Hotel I visited Port Blair in Feb 13

There are many hotels in Delanipur region but the price of Teal House is very pocket friendly and the ambiance it offers is superb. We started our journey from Teal House and started loving Andaman for this hotel. There are very few service staffs in the hotel and thus maintenance is a huge issue. When we checked in, the manager... More

This is government guest house in Andaman. We have taken the A/C room with a distant view of the sea. The room condition is simple and moderate. No much amenities at this hotel. Also during night there are cockroaches in the bathroom, which they need to take care of. Also in most of the rooms there were no remotes for... More

The only painful part was the booking process. As it is a property of A&N tourism, we had to send the tourist office multiple mails after which they sent us acknowledgement and requested for a Demand draft to be mailed to their address for payment. Within 10 working days we got booking confirmation and on arrival in Port Blair we... More

The room is superb with AC, TV with nice washroom. The restaurant serves nice veg buffet with non veg extra on order. Nice valve... More

The Teal House is a property owned by Andaman Tourism. However, it was outsourced under PPP for a few years and thus, could not be developed as much as other government owned properties. It has again been taken over by the Andaman Tourism and renovated recently. The rooms are basic and are equipped with AC, TV, Electric Kettle etc. The... More
