The first thing to say about this hotel is, it's an absolutely cracking hotel in a 3rd world Country. So long as you're aware of the 3rd world bit you can't go wrong. Every member of staff works very hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. First and foremost the rooms are cleaned every day. Towels are changed... More

Just had a week at the Palma Rima, our first visit to this hotel. Will not be rushing to book another visit. The all inclusive bar is open 11am to 11pm, serving poor tasting beer, bad red wine and only the house flavoured ethanol spirits. Housekeeping banging on our door at 0900 every morning to adaily reply of later, despite... More

No use of mattress/pillow protectors. Both our matresses were stained very deeply with disgusingly large marks of 'bodily fludis' on BOTH sides. QUILTS for bed covering. Ceiling fans were an additional 200 dalasi PER DAY - No TV in block accomadation. Towels were musky, abrasive and like cardboard. BREAKFAST was pre cooked, tepid, bland uninviting food - once quotas for... More

Booked this hotel for 10 nights as seemed a bargain although we are used to going to 4/5 star hotels. On arrival had a look around the place and the small bar area. After walking down to our bungalow was so depressed and decided we could not stay. To put it in a nutshell, it is like a small Butlins... More
