We booked a deluxe room. It overlooked the car park, was very small and the door lock did not work. We paid an extra £140 to upgrade for two weeks. The second day there was a flood from the bathroom so we moved again. Most of the staff were good. Sammy and Barry were very efficient. With the benefit of... More

We had a deluxe room and it overlooked the road, and had a lovely balcony which got the sun all afternoon. The breakfast was nice and staff were good . At the bottom of the street is poco locos and the beach which is lovely x

My husband and I have just returned from a week at the djeliba. We had a standard room but upgraded to a deluxe room. It was perfect! The breakfast was fresh and varied. The resteraunt meals were lovely and reasonably priced. We had a balcony which overlooked the pool which I was skeptical about as I thought it would be... More

Please be advised that we have travelled to The Gambia 10 times so we know what to expect. Booked the holiday in May 2014 to ensure the holiday we wanted as advised by Thomas Cook staff. Hotel - Good Service by all the staff. The rooms are in need of a make-over and are very dark. Good location. The brochure... More

We stayed from the 16th to 23rd December, bed and breakfast. ROOMS We upgraded for a small amount upon booking (£40) so had a junior suite and were so glad we did. The room was huge! Pool and sea view, two sofas, huge bed, ensuite wetroom, lcd tv, fridge, safe box ect. You do have to pay for aircon, however... More

My friends Jon and Larry have already mentioned our great stay in their reviews but felt I should also put a review in as Djeliba certainly deserve a great write up. Having travelled to Gambia for over 20 years, this is by far the best accommodation I have stayed in with very clean standards and above all, friendly and honest... More

I have travelled every year since 1996 and my greatest times have been at Djeliba hotel. Book direct with Eli and enjoy the best service. The rooms are clean and good size, all the staff are happy and helpful. The location ideal for the beach, and PocoLoco is the best beach bar in the area. Local live music, great food,... More
