I visited Ghost Ranch with a group of young people from my church, and it was extremely disappointing. The entire experience was unwelcoming and the staff was abrasive. Our activities were completely disorganized and the staff was rude and dismissive of their shortcomings. We had reasonable expectations for the "rustic" accommodations, but our building (lodging 20 people) didn't even have... More

Impossible to get reservation. Repeated and repeated phone calls, emails not returned, no info available on website (there is a new website up NOW). People in office had no clue who had any information. I was at a conference, not on retreat, and needed phone service. It was non-existent for many providers, WIFI totally disfunctional. No room key or packet... More

I just returned from my first trip to Ghost Ranch and would be hard pressed to return. I was told to expect rustic, but truly this is mismanagement at its best and customer service (from admin) at its worst. "First come first served" seems to be the rule when it comes to getting a decent room or a decent meal.... More

A fellow photographer friend and I visited Ghost Ranch on a day trip to take some photos. There has recently been a lot of rain and we were discouraged from using the hiking trails, but even staying close in there was a lot of natural beauty to enjoy. We took a tour and learned a lot about the history of... More

Spend two nights at Ghost Ranch for a conference. Spectacular place. Hard not to find the red rock cliffs and mesas awe-inspiring. The rooms are sparse. Even the top-of-the-line private rooms (small, just a double bed in ours with a chest and side table, no chair) with private baths (nicely tiled, shower but no tub) are basic. No shampoo, conditioner,... More

Ghost Ranch is absolutely breathtaking. We loved our weekend as part of the Valentine's event. The staff and teachers are wonderful and kind. We especially enjoyed our reflexology class and our guided hike. My personal favorite is the 24hour library-heaven! From the gorgeous sunrises to the lovely sunsets to the night sky filled with a myriad of stars-Ghost Ranch is... More

My husband and I just spend a wonderful week at this very special place. We found the staff friendly and welcoming. The staff and volunteers are very knowledgable about the local cultures, history, archaeology, and paleontology of the area. Just stand in one spot and do a 360 degree turn, and you will see spectacular beauty with every turn. The... More

Range from the VERY affordable to the very luxurious and the prices now are DISCOUNTED 20% until Jan term. Makes for a very peaceful and affordable getaway at this time of year to escape the hecticness of the season and get back to a more spiritual place.

My family and I have been going here since 1998. We LOVE Ghost Ranch! This is not a resort, it is like going to camp, you stay in Cabins. It is a little rustic, so dont expect cable TV. Plan to Retreat from the rush rush of every day life, pick a class you are interested in and come to... More

We stayed at Ghost Ranch for 3 days, having previously visted on day trips. We were not sure what to expect for accommodation as there are lots of different kinds of rooms to rent. Ours was great - we were in Tumbleweed which had a bedroom & sitting room located high above the ranch with uninterrupted views of the magnificent... More
