We stayed 6 nights at Ghost Ranch. It was beautiful. The food was ok, our room was small and the bed hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom isjubig enough for the stool and a shower. This little room had a double and a single bed , but almost no room for storage. It had no extra room.hard. The bathroom was just... More

I think your perception of Ghost Ranch as a place to stay depends - a great deal - on what you are looking for in your stay and the type of accommodations you have while there. If you are not comfortable being disconnected from the outside world and find life without TV or reliable wi-fi and cell service unbearable, then... More

We were with a private group of 30 guests. We stayed five nights in Coyote. Our very basic, clean and plainly furnished room included a front sitting area and back bedroom and bath. No air conditioning which was inconvenient as it was quite hot. The service was almost non-existent which complicated things when the Coyote community room water cooler ran... More

Beautiful and serene area. Only had an hour or so and stopped here as it had been about two decades since prior visit. Went to the 'Welcome Center' and gave the suggested donation fee for four adults and received information and a map from a well-informed woman. We were not prepared for a hike either time-wise or in footwear. The... More

I visited Ghost Ranch with a group of young people from my church, and it was extremely disappointing. The entire experience was unwelcoming and the staff was abrasive. Our activities were completely disorganized and the staff was rude and dismissive of their shortcomings. We had reasonable expectations for the "rustic" accommodations, but our building (lodging 20 people) didn't even have... More

Impossible to get reservation. Repeated and repeated phone calls, emails not returned, no info available on website (there is a new website up NOW). People in office had no clue who had any information. I was at a conference, not on retreat, and needed phone service. It was non-existent for many providers, WIFI totally disfunctional. No room key or packet... More

I just returned from my first trip to Ghost Ranch and would be hard pressed to return. I was told to expect rustic, but truly this is mismanagement at its best and customer service (from admin) at its worst. "First come first served" seems to be the rule when it comes to getting a decent room or a decent meal.... More

A fellow photographer friend and I visited Ghost Ranch on a day trip to take some photos. There has recently been a lot of rain and we were discouraged from using the hiking trails, but even staying close in there was a lot of natural beauty to enjoy. We took a tour and learned a lot about the history of... More

Spend two nights at Ghost Ranch for a conference. Spectacular place. Hard not to find the red rock cliffs and mesas awe-inspiring. The rooms are sparse. Even the top-of-the-line private rooms (small, just a double bed in ours with a chest and side table, no chair) with private baths (nicely tiled, shower but no tub) are basic. No shampoo, conditioner,... More

Ghost Ranch is absolutely breathtaking. We loved our weekend as part of the Valentine's event. The staff and teachers are wonderful and kind. We especially enjoyed our reflexology class and our guided hike. My personal favorite is the 24hour library-heaven! From the gorgeous sunrises to the lovely sunsets to the night sky filled with a myriad of stars-Ghost Ranch is... More
