Beautiful surroundings,at this Inn!Great food, and wonderful service. From here, one can go to ghost ranch easily,as well as to Christ in the desert monastery, which i highly recommend!!!!the only concern i had,was that the housekeeping certainly could have been better,as there was visible dirt,in places which I would recommend improving on,quickly.I stayed here for 5 nights, which was wonderful!

We stayed here 20 years ago with our two children and loved it then, so this time around decided to stay again. It was just as nice as we remembered. The rooms in the courtyard building nearest the road are classic New Mexico, with very comfortable beds, small fireplaces (in our room at least) and an inside door that leads... More

Wonderful room, wonderful food, wonderful gift shop, wonderful people! The presentation and taste of the good was such great quality. The room ambiance and size was just right. Gift shop had quality gifts and Georgia O'Keefe's Studio, which is a must to see, is right around the corner.

Our room was charmingly decorated, comfortable and big, which is nice after a cramped flight. The setting was quiet and beautiful. I'm only sorry that we just stayed one night, so couldn't spend a lot of time lingering on the chairs behind our building, which looked onto trees and bushes full of bird life. As others have noted, the inn... More

Went to area to fish Abiqui Lake. Got Room #3 - among a circular group of rooms surrounding a wonderful little patio with a fountain in the middle. Loved just relaxing in the patio, watching the birds and hummingbirds drinking from the fountain (while the anglers were out catching fish). Lots to see and do in the area. The Inn... More

Well, maybe not exactly "desert" but close... Perfectly located as a base to explore Plaza Blanca, Ghost Ranch and Echo Amphitheater. Very comfortable rooms with kiva fireplace. Dogs welcome. The restaurant has a well rounded selection and there is outdoor dining on the front porch near the hummingbird feeders - especially good if you are traveling with pets. Gift store... More

Recommend. Large, well-appointed room with comfortable king bed. Good, flexible service as we arrived about 11 pm. Works so well with O'Keefe Studio tours I thought it was one organization. Mixup on breakfast costs. Fixed at front desk at checkout.

Stayed at one of the casitas in the back. The room was really attractive and very nicely appointed and arranged for a family. 2 separate bedrooms, large living area and full kitchen (with utensils, plates, etc) and a large bathroom made it a perfect room for 4! The rooms are quiet and private. There are virtually no options for this... More

My granddaughter and I stayed at the Abiquiu Inn in July 2014 while on tour of Georgia O'Keeffe sites. We booked one of the Red Mesa rooms based on the room descriptions on the Inn's website (using the AAA discount) and were not disappointed. The room was large, with two double beds, lovely decor and a back door to a... More

The Abiquiu Inn, in Abiquiu, NM, is a lovely place to stay, with quiet rooms in separately joined cottages (ours shared a fountain in the courtyard), spread out grounds and an excellent restaurant. We were also able to enjoy the nearby Georgia O'Keefe Ghost Ranch, with its history and buildings honoring the late, great painter of Southwestern landscapes in an... More
