A group of 24 women booked rooms at the Abiquiu Inn for the weekend in order to visit O'Keeffe's house in Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch and the Purple Lavendar Farm. Each evening the hotel served dinner with three choices for entrees. It was terrific. The rooms are nice and the location is so scenic! I was in a suite which was... More

We booked one of the cheaper rooms which looked nice from the pictures we saw online. We were fooled. Room 18 wasn't even attached to the Inn. It's to the side behind an office and faced a construction site with workers 30 feet from our doorway. Room was dirty, so small two of us could barely walk around without bumping... More

Hello CB5959, I am sorry we did not correctly set the expectation for our economy room. These rooms are described on our website as follows: "For budget conscious travelers; modestly furnished room with 1 double bed, iron/board, coffee maker, hair dryer, satellite television, BeeKind bath amenities and convenient parking right at your door. A "no frills" experience" We try to... More

When staying in a remote area, it is sooo nice to find such a charming inn. It is a great location and very quiet. We were very pleased to find such a great gift shop with Hector Rascon carvings priced below Santa Fe, clothing, and many other nice things. There are several attractive adobe buildings on the property. Our room... More

This is a charming little hotel that is close by to Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu Lake and the Georgia O'Keeffe House. We stayed in Plaza Blanca where 8 rooms surround a little courtyard. Room is very New Mexican with saltillo tile on the floor, kiva fireplace with banco and Mexican Equipale chairs. The room is a bit worn and bed was... More

We stayed here 3 nights in 2 rooms and loved the peaceful grounds and spacious rooms. However, our second room (#25) had a wifi signal so weak that we could not log on. We complained to the front desk, but they just said some rooms don't get a good signal. Cell service (AT&T) is only 3 bars, so we were... More

Hello Bagan, I am glad you enjoyed the beautiful grounds and spacious rooms; however your experience with Wi-Fi is very concerning to me! The wireless location that provides the Red Mesa Suites signal has been giving us trouble. I am working with our IT advisor to immediately upgrade this router. IPhone and IPad devices seem to have the greatest difficulty... More

Beautiful surroundings,at this Inn!Great food, and wonderful service. From here, one can go to ghost ranch easily,as well as to Christ in the desert monastery, which i highly recommend!!!!the only concern i had,was that the housekeeping certainly could have been better,as there was visible dirt,in places which I would recommend improving on,quickly.I stayed here for 5 nights, which was wonderful!

Hello Donny56, I hope you are doing well. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and exploration into the surrounding area. I am concerned about your experience with housekeeping. We strive to provide the highest level of cleanliness possible and it would be helpful for me to know what areas were missed, to ensure our staffs are directed appropriately. Please... More

We stayed here 20 years ago with our two children and loved it then, so this time around decided to stay again. It was just as nice as we remembered. The rooms in the courtyard building nearest the road are classic New Mexico, with very comfortable beds, small fireplaces (in our room at least) and an inside door that leads... More

Wonderful room, wonderful food, wonderful gift shop, wonderful people! The presentation and taste of the good was such great quality. The room ambiance and size was just right. Gift shop had quality gifts and Georgia O'Keefe's Studio, which is a must to see, is right around the corner.

Our room was charmingly decorated, comfortable and big, which is nice after a cramped flight. The setting was quiet and beautiful. I'm only sorry that we just stayed one night, so couldn't spend a lot of time lingering on the chairs behind our building, which looked onto trees and bushes full of bird life. As others have noted, the inn... More

Went to area to fish Abiqui Lake. Got Room #3 - among a circular group of rooms surrounding a wonderful little patio with a fountain in the middle. Loved just relaxing in the patio, watching the birds and hummingbirds drinking from the fountain (while the anglers were out catching fish). Lots to see and do in the area. The Inn... More

Hello Marsha K I hope your group had a fun time fishing at the lake and were successful! I too enjoy the lake and the Chama River on my days off. While I think our coffee in the Café is top notch, I understand your concern with the standard in-room coffee supplied. I will review your comments with my Executive... More
