Wanting to escape all the bridesmaids and the drunk backpacker crowd, I arrived to this isolated island for a winter get-away, and I stayed for a month. Cyclone season proved to be completely cyclone-free, probably 1-2 days of rain only! The ocean-view villa became my impromptu office (for I can work as long as I have good internet, and wifi... After a week of a beautiful private luxury home, I had to make a quick mental adjustment to this more remote, communal and basic accommodations. It didn't take long to adapt to the more simple setting, as the wind was howling and the people were so friendly and welcoming. It is an understatement to say I felt like long lost... More

Our stay at Safari lodge was very good. Owner (Warren) was super friendly. When you are there it feels like home stay. You have group dinners where all people that stay there eat and hang together. It's easy to connect with people and engage in conversation. Beach next to lodge is nice but was very windy when we were there.... More

The stay was quiet awesome! Despite the rainy and windy weather everything was fantastic. The stuff looked after us and Warren was very helpful. Food was very good - very homely and you could eat as much as you wanted. This is the place for the adventure lovers - especially if you love nature!

Visited not so long back. Warren and his staff were very nice and hospitable to my friends and I. Despite the good things about this place, the 'meal plan' which they recommend (unsurprisingly) is a total let down for the price you are paying, I expected a lot more than just pasta and salad, and toast for breakfast. I would... More

We spent six days at Safari Lodge as guests of the charming and knowledgable Warren Francis. Our goal was relaxation by learning to kiteboard and hopefully diving. Our first day on the island (which is remote and accessible by boat), Warren had us out with kites doing body drags and trying out the boards. With his little yellow boat chasing... More

What a total let down............... from the moment we checked in to the time we got out of there it was full of let downs here are just a few. 1.We booked a "beach front Bure" and on arrival noticed it was beside where they burn the resorts trash. 2. I was expecting "hot water and modern facilities" as stated... More

We stayed there for a couple of days and went on a dive with them. The room was good but the bugs everywhere!. We payed for the 3x a day meals as there is no shop to buy food on the whole island, so it's the only thing you can eat at all out there! The food was highly overpriced... More

We've spent one week at the safari lodge and it was an amazing time. We chose it because of the wideranged sport offer and we weren't disappointed! We did our open water course with michelle and she could totally show us why diving is an awesome thing. All three of us enjoyed every dive and we had a lot of... More

We had a great trip in a relaxed atmosphere with great people! As a hesitant kite boarder I felt I was in capable hands and had a great time. The accommodation was fantastic and suited to our needs, a great balance between some get away time and socialising! There was plenty to do that didn't involve kites if you are... More
