What an amazing holiday! Wananavu is a hidden gem. It's located on the north of the main island and is not a busy tourist destination which makes you feel like you have the entire coast to yourself. The service at Wananavu is amazing - the staff are all friendly and know your name by the first day - and remember... More

Wananavu resort sits in the northwest corner of Viti Levu, and is the closest resort to the Bligh Waters. Our beach front bure was a bit smaller than some we’ve had in Fiji, but well laid out. The king size bed had good reading lights and the room featured two ceiling fans and air conditioning (although we chose to turn... More

We traveled to Fiji with a dive group of around 25 people. Traveled on Thanksgiving Day. Long, long flight. Well worth it though, once we finally got to our destination Wananuvu Beach Resort!! What a beautiful place, staffed with beautiful friendly people. We were treated like family by everyone working at the resort. The excursions were fun, entertaining and educational.... More

My husband and I picked the Wanavu Resort after a great deal of research and emailing for our destination wedding...we literally were blown away with the place! They were fantastic, all around!! Rachel Plummer the resort manager was so incredibly helpful and worked tirelessly to give me the wedding that far surpassed my expectations. Every detail was covered from flowers... More

We booked a 6 night stay with diving at this resort due to very good reviews. Our shuttle driver picked us up at the airport in an old station wagon with a falling apart, rusty body and worn-out seats and drove us to the resort, nicely stopping to pick up cold medicine for me. The resort is off the main... More

This is one of the best places we have stayed as a family. We had a very comfortable two bedroom villa with it's own beach for just $250 a night for a family of five! The location is perfect, snorkelling, fishing, great food, great staff, few people and close to villages. This is a quiet resort, no kids club and... More

Whilst staying with some friends in Sigatoka we decided to hire a 4wd and drive up the coast for the night. Sure enough - Paradise Found! Wananavu is an amazing little resort overlooking the north coast of Fiji near Raki Raki. We turned down the unsealed road and dubiously drove until we came to the resort. We were not dissapointed!... Wanananvu is the real Fiji. The Resort is located two hours from Nadi Airport but reliable and friendly transfers are provided by the Resort. Upon arriving at the Resort we were overwhelmed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. We were ushered to the bar and resturant, our 15 month old given lots of attention and our bags taken... More

Spent a week at the Wananavu Beach Resort begining on November 6th. My wife and I were traveling with a dive group of about 19 people most of whom reside in and around San Diego. The resort does take a little bit of time to get to (about 2 1/2 hours from the airport in Nadi). Fiji has a national... More
