2.5 hours north of either Nadi or Suva, You arrive being reassured that this is "the real Fiji". Having stayed in 9 Fijian resorts and at 4 other hotels over the last 12 years, I initially took this promise with a grain of salt. Guess what, with the exception of staying in one of the villages it probably is a... More

We enjoyed Wananavu so much the first time that we had to return for a second stay. The grounds are beautiful and a good mix of enough activity and peaceful. We enjoyed great snorkeling trips and diving. There is a tennis court available for guests to use, nice beach, a freshwater pool, beachfront hammocks, and a beautiful grassy area you... More

Wananavu was a great choice for a week long trip with my daughter. We had a lovely 2 bedroom house on the beach which was roomy and really nice. The staff had arranged for her to visit several local schools while I went scuba diving and that worked out very well. The staff was terrific from Sam who met us... More

A group of us stayed here for one night only on our way back from Suva to Nadi. I could have stayed a week!. It is an adventure getting to the resort but once you conquer their driveway you arrive at a tranquil headland. The accommodation flows down the hillside to the beach, we stayed in ocean view rooms with... More

Wananavu is a very quiet and beautiful place. I traveled here for a wedding which was just amazing. The Wedding itself was well organised and dutiful staffed by the resort. Plenty of different activities to do here (usually cost a little extra). The Food and service is top class and is certainly one of the best places I have traveled... More

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Wananavu Beach Resort. To echo the other reviewers, the resort offers alot of peace and quiet...no pounding music and aerobics in the pool here! A perfect get away for those who want to unplug. Internet was available,if you needed it, though. The staff was more than friendly, treated us like guests in... More

This was a great trip. We stayed in the Ocean View Burees. Very nice, AC available, but never needed to use it. The rooms are roomy and have a nice porch. The Food and Bar service was excellent. Everyone in the Main Resort was very Friendly and Helpful. We rally enjoyed the Happy Hours. Didn't spend much time on the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and were happy to laze around. The staff are wonderful but I think breakfast can be improved. Although it is buffet breakfast, it is quite simple. We had the Ocean View bure which had wonderful views of the Pacific Ocean but the room itself is quite rustic and small. On the positive side, it... More

We stayed at Wananavu for 3 nights after staying a couple of nights at one of the Denarau resorts. We wish we could have spent all our time at Wananavu. It's a 2 hr drive from. Nadi Int'l, but worth the trip. The staff are warm and sincere and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. The views are beautiful, especially sunset... More
