We spent a few days there on a recent trip to Fiji. Didn't start off too well, there was no one to meet us at the Airport in spite of confirming our arrival 2 days prior Got that sorted ok in the end Our stay included 4 trips that we were never offered. The resort is on 2 levels. The... More

Backpacking across the world and normally stay in cheaper places but decided to treat ourselves for our anniversary weekend. Our room was amazing. Comfy bed, lovely bath, toiletries provided, room and linen cleaned and replaced daily. Our room had a beautiful view. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Free kayaks were fun. Pool was lovely although very cold. Food was... More

Trip Advisor reviews of this hotel rating it as "terrible" are accurate. I am embarrassed this place is owned by an Australian, he must be ashamed? Surely? Think cheap, out dated and dirty. Anchorage Beach Resort leaves a lot to be desired. The views are lovely, most of the staff are lovely, the rest is pretty terrible. The "resort" (I... More

Stayed here for 10 nights recently, the rooms were nice, although we didn't feel that our belongings were that safe as the safe in our room was "broken" and the ranch slider lock was pretty shotty. Also our neighboring guests had been robbed straight out of their room during their stay, pretty sketchy and made us a little anxious. Food... More

Worst stay ever. Avoid this place if you can. Nothing good to say at all except for leaving. Shivin an indian reception clerk at front desk is a shifty conman who will try and rip you off with Taxi's . Place is rundown and old and neglected. My bathroom stunk of vomit. Shower head was no good had to try... More

Bula Disappointed1 Whilst it is disappointing to read your review and it appears that our property was a mismatch to your own expectations, the vast majority of our guests pass positive feedback about everything that makes the Anchorage special and memorable for them. Vinaka More

Very pleasant resort.Ideal for island hopping and we also visited mud baths and orchids of the sleeping giant. You may need a taxi to take you to these. You can negotiate a set fee.Very pleasant staff both here and on Beachcomber. The pool is beautifically clean and nice sun loungers scattered around where you can read a book and sunbathe. We equally walked the... Bula Simon, Thanks your your review. Yes, the Anchorage is a good base to visit the local attractions and to go island hopping from. A lot of the rubbish that washes up on beaches is the result of it being disposed of in rivers in the surrounding area and it then washes up with the next high tide. All our... More

Just finishing our week stay at this lovely resort. Great base for island hopping, island day trips, or catching the local buses to Lautoka or Nadi. Walk the train track to Vuda Marina for lunch and a drink. Walk the track towards the village to catch the bus without having to climb the hill! Lots of options here. Not to... More

We stayed at the Anchorage for a month and during that time we were made to feel like members of a big family. The staff here are joyful, talkative and very keen to make sure you have everything you need. Clive hosts the breakfast show with characteristic energy and style, ably helped by Mere and Viri. Alassi, Si and Andi... More
