There are many choices and since we only had 3 days to spend on our way home from Australia, I wanted the perfect place. I spent months reading reviews for Fiji resorts. I settled on Savasi Island and from the moment we were greeted by Ma and the wonderful staff we felt at home. The resort exceeded our expectations. I... More

We had the perfect vacation from start to end. Amazing in every aspect. Right from our pick up at the airport to our drop back. As soon as we got to savasi, the staff all welcomed us with a beautiful welcome song. After a refreshing welcome drink, we were taken to our bure. Though at first I was concerned of... More

I don't know if Tripadvisor will publish this as we did not stay as we were committed else where but we did call in on our way to the airport and spent the most wonderful hour+ with Ma. We had a couple of drinks at the bar and Ma showed us the Coralview villa. The villa was devine with it's... More

My review will echo that of many others - this is a fabulous place to stay in beautiful fiji. The bures are all different and fabulous - I can speak to at least two of them (blue lagoon and coral villa) as there was a mistake between our travel agent and the villas, which the villa handled very professionally and... Amazing food and hospitality, stunning location and loads of fun activities and new experiences. I'd never before been snorkelling, let alone seen sea turtles and blue starfish in the wild. The coral reef is beautiful, and being able to start right from the beach at the resort made it so easy to just pop in between meals. We went kayaking... More

It is very TRUE, this place is beautiful! The resort and the villas are simply gorgeous. It is so relaxing, peaceful and private. It is a small resort so it is a perfect place to get away from it all. Savusavu is also very beautiful and worth the trip from Nadi, it is much cooler and the landscapes are stunning,... More

What looks to be becoming our annual family getaway, Savasi Island Resort, has again provided us with a unique and personal holiday. This time we stayed in Blue Lagoon Villa 3, and although we had to keep a VERY close watch on the kids due to plunge pool, the villa was perfect and specially equipped for us with a cot... More

I had the misfortune of losing my passport so I was one of those problem guests in that I required much help from Ma to connect me to embassy etc, etc. I really cant say enough good things about... We spent 6 days there and I can only say: WOW! It's not typicall 5 star resort, dont expect "Ritz" hotel. But it is awesome combination of privacy (only couple of villas on island), personal approach and great environment. Staff was great led by "Ma",she was really responding any request with kind approach, food was great despite of limited selection anything... More

A lovely, intimate resort with wonderful staff who can't do enough for you. Very lush and green. Beautiful grounds. We stayed in the Blue Lagoon villa 2 and loved the private infinity pool. We also liked the fact that Savusavu is not a touristy place yet. Minor irritations included problems with the internet / wifi and hot water in the... More

Thank you CandP for your contribution. We would like to clarify for others on Trip Advisor that the issues with wifi and hot water were not isolated to Savasi Island, and were addressed at the soonest possibility. We hope you will indeed return to Savusavu in the near future so we can extend our hospitality to you both again. More
