I simply cannot adequately describe how perfect the Cousteau resort is. Everything, from the bures to the food to the snorkeling/diving is utterly amazing. To top it off, the staff is fantastic. My wife and I have never met friendlier people (and the extends to all the Fijian people we met on the trip). They truly made us feel like... more

We just returned from this resort after 7 nights. We travelled with two other families, also with two young children each. We all had a sensational time. We chose it after recommendations from several friends who had all loved it. What sold us was the nannies for each child from 8am to 9.30pm (and later for $5 extra). It was... more

My husband and I along with our 4 year old grand-daughter had a wonderful 7 night stay. The staff were just so genuinely friendly and always addressed us by name. The "Bula Club" for the children was well run with plenty of activities to keep the littlies occupied and the nanny designated to each child under 5 was an excellent... more

We just returned from a fabulous week here and I promised myself I would post a review. This is the best family resort we've been to and we've sampled some high end ones, the last one being the Palmilla in Cabo San Lucas. JMC is different and it may take a day or two to appreciate its enlightened, low-key charm.... more

While very pricey, I don't quarrel with much of anything after our stay there. The food was great, our bure was very nice, the service was fantastic and we really enjoyed the twice daily guided snorkel trips. If you're into complete lounging, you could never leave. If you need variety, after four of five days of luxurious relaxation, it will... more

My partner booked and paid for a week here, so I can't rate the "value" of the resort, but I know it was pricy. But if you've got the bucks, it's worth it. It seems most suited for families that want to have their young kids taken care of while they have some time to themselves, or for families with... more

I felt compelled to write a review as I recently stayed here with my family and had the best holiday! My husband and I stayed for a week with our 4.5 month old and 2 year old. We actually loved the fact there is no tv or radio or news - it is so wonderful to escape the humdrum. The... more

We spent one fantastic week at this resort. with our two boys then aged 7 and 9. From the moment we arrived we could not help but be impressed by almost everything from the attention our two young boys received from the friendly staff to the beautiful setting of the resort itself. The courtesy bus and the meet and greet... more

In summary. Comfort 2/5 –too cramped, the water in rooms didn't work 2 days in 7, fittings were tired Cleanliness 4/5, well kept gardens and rooms Food 3/5 – good, but unimaginative Facilities 3/5 – pools are small, water sports facilities are good Location 4/5 – beautiful above the water and below, it’s just a bugger to get there.
