We can't recommend staying at Nakia highly enough. We stayed for a week wi our two year old daughter a few weeks back and have come back to NZ raving to anyone who will listen about how great it was. Jim and Robin and their staff take great care of each and every guest, catering for our needs often before... More

We had never been to Fiji before, so just decided on Nakia Resort based on its location (Taveuni, the "Garden Island") and reviews. What a great place! The property is very pretty, perched up on the hillside. It is small and intimate, run by and staffed with fine and friendly people. The bures (only 4) are comfortable and the food... More

The accommodations were comfortable, the resort was serene and the food was very good. The fruit smoothies were simply to die for, I still dream of them to this day. But the best part was of course the diving. It was absolutely spectacular!

We spent one week at Nakia Dive Resort in late May 2015. Our accommodations were very nice. We stayed in the large family unit with 2 bedrooms because we had 3 people Our hostess Robin was lovely and accommodating. The food was excellent Our diving trips twice a day with daughter Julie Kelly at her nearby location were absolutely outstanding.... More

if you are looking for a small quiet out of the way place in Fiji with friendly people and great diving then look no further then Nakia Dive Resort in Taveuni. The resort is made up a few individual bure’s or cabins that all have fantastic views of Rainbow Reef where there is amazing diving and snorkelling . During our... More

Our family of four stayed at Nakia for a week. The accommodations are excellent, and the food and service are top notch. We went scuba diving nearly every day, and I was blown away by the rich diversity of the Rainbow Reef. The resort and dive shop are family owned and operated, and the staff are friendly and very helpful.... More

Lovely few days at Nakia Resort & Dive with my visiting parents, husband and young son. Booked based on a recommendation from friends and can highly recommend it as a very comfortable, relaxed and personal place to stay. Food package is well worth it as Robin and her team happily made the extra effort to tailor our meals around fresh... More

My wife and I went with 3 friends, the first time to the South Pacific for any of us. By sheer serendipity (and a search thru TripAdvisor), we landed at the dive resort owned by Robin and Jim Kelly and their daughter Julie, who runs the dive shop. The natural setting overlooking the Somosomo Strait was spectacular, the view that... More

Friends and I just stayed at Nakia for a week in late May/early June. We shared the family Bure (which did have separate entrances for each room) which had very spacious rooms. I especially enjoyed the outdoor shower in the smaller of the two bedrooms. The service was excellent - Robin is a very gracious host, who drove me down... More

My husband and I and 3 friends stayed at Nakia for 12 days in April. This was one of those trip-of-a-lifetime experiences. Robin and Jim run a beautiful small resort where we enjoyed every minute. Four of us stayed in the family bure (Somosomo) because it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Loved the outdoor shower for the back bedroom... More
