We stayed at Nakia for 3 days in June as part of our honeymoon and highly recommend it to all. We were looking for a more adventurous trip, and the folks at Nakia didn't disappoint. They helped us book a hike to Lavena Coastal Walk, which we highly recommend to amateurs and experienced hikers alike. The swim in the waterfall... more

Spent six glorious days at Nakia and the only complaint I have is that I'm no longer able to enjoy Robin's cooking at every meal. Her desserts are not to be missed, especially the chocolate and lemon cakes. The entire menu is full of delicious dishes from organic salads grown on site paired with freshly baked bread to fish grilled... more

We highly enjoyed our stay with Nakia Resort & Dive. The family and all of the staff were incredibly friendly, and it felt as if we were staying with friends rather than at a resort. They catered the food to our tastes, and it was fresh - straight out of the garden. We have dove in many parts of the... more

Nakia was the perfect combination of dive paradise and tranquil accomodations. Aaron and Julie were a superb pair to dive with. Aaron was a careful boat captain, with sense of humor thrown in for no extra charge. Julie was very well informed about the local sea life and the most safety-concious dive master I've ever met. Robin made kept our... more

Once you land on Taveuni and are being driven to Nakia Resort you sense something extraordinary is occurring akin to the doors to Paradise being opened. Fifteen minutes later, when you arrive at Nakia, it is certain that you have entered Paradise. The written word cannot do justice to this absolutely wonderful establishment. The delectable food offered by Robin with... more

I recently dove with Nakia and highly recommend the charter. I take underwater photographs and the boat is one of the best I have used. Arron and Julie run a excellent operation and I will use them when I return. Billy Roche Palm Beach Gardens Florida more

As part of a three weeks trip we stayed 7 nights at Nakia Resort & Dive. The staff at Nakia was so open-hearted and bestowed us a great and relaxing time. We fell in love with this place! As Taveuni is known to be one of the best places for diving in the world I also decided to learn diving... more

Nakia Resort is a peaceful place in a quiet, undeveloped setting. It is a family-run business - the owners and staff felt like friends at the end of our stay, and with a ten-person maximum capacity, this is not surprising. The cabins (bures) are well-maintained and comfortable and the food is good. We did some hiking, biking, and snorkelling and... more

The serene feeling I had the entire stay at Nakia resort, with the view, the Bure's, the workers and owners of the resort made my trip very relaxing and money well spent. The food is wonderful, some of the best cuisine I have ever had. Stay at Nakia if you are looking for a nice relaxing time with good food... more

From the coastal walk, swimming to the falls, snorkling, hiking, the waterslides, kicking back with a good book, laughing with friends & family! What a vacation!!
