Although Taveuni is a very rare and beautiful place on earth, I had been also attracted by the idea of staying in a pretty secluded and unspoiled resort. Wrong wrong wrong. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our time at Matei Pointe. The sunsets are amazing and the people even nicer. There is excellent snorkelling right off the point.
