We had a warm welcome (excuse the pun) at the hotel with welcome drink and a much needed ice cold flannel. Rooms were fine - bathrobes and slippers a nice touch. Although from a 5* AI I was surprised that the room's minibar was not free and was quite expensive. I personally prefer the pool to beach and like many... more

I read several reviews on this hotel, all had different and confusing ideas, well this is the blunt of it. The hotel is very clean we found no fault in this. They clean almost 24/7 so if you want to sleep in or are ill you will be woken up by the very noisy room cleaners shouting the odds up... more

We have just got back from 2 weeks at the Baron Palms in Egypt and have to say we could not fault the hotel one bit. We arrived at 12:00am and were transferred by a coach - beware the man who puts your bags on demands tips and was quite rude and refused to put some peoples bags on -... more

What can we say, we wish we were still there! Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean with staff on the go from sunrise to sunset cleaning, gardening, attending to customers every needs, nothing is too much trouble. The hotels restaurant covers everyone's tastes & dietary needs thanks to a very dedicated Canadian Chef who takes pride in his work and who's aim... more

We have just returned from a two week holiday (two 40 odds plus one 10 year old). The initial impression when we arrived was very good. Having spent a previous glorious week in Sharm last year staying at the Royal Albatross we kind of knew what to expect. We arrived at about 8 p.m., had a welcome drink and was... more

To be fair, the holiday overall was a nightmare. However, that was not the fault of the hotel. A quick note about that later. The Baron Palms is a very clean, welcoming hotel and 99% of the staff are very friendly. We were welcomed with a fruit drink and given a quick chat by the assistant manager and issued with... more

Oh dear! Had to come home a week early due to suspected food poisoning. Results from GP to confirm. Food appeared to be luke warm and reused the next day in a different guise. We only ate in the hotel and therefore know the problem was there. The staff were very friendly, but the rep less so. Police at every... more

Having visited this Hotel in October 2006 with my husband, I returned with my friend in June 2009. I should point out that when I visited with my husband, the Hotel had only been opened since April 2006 and so when we arrived, half of the Hotel was closed, either due to upcoming end of the season, or because the... more
