I've stayed at the Grand Sharm twice now and have absolutely no problem with it. We booked B&B and the only issue I have is the level of breakfast in the morning. Which is good but felt there could be more of a choice. The staff are really friendly, A special mention to Ayman who worked in Whispers Cafe, excellent... more

Coming from the retail industry I understand why people only tend to right letters of complaint than letters of recomendation, that doesn't mean that it doeasn't annoy me though. If you want an English fry up, a curry or fish and chips then go to Blackpool. If you want luxury then empty your savings account and go somewhere expensive. If... more

I was very concerned after reading all of the bad reports on Trip Advisor. We stayed at the Hilton Waterfalls for the first night and this was 5 star luxury but very in-personal. Then we moved to the Grand Sharm. The staff were very helpful on arrival and checked that all was ok. The hotel is a little tired but... more

After booking this holiday I was a bit concerned reading some of the reviews (this was worry for nothing) This is a great value for money hotel. Well placed for "Fantazia" and "Il Mercato" Halfway situated between Naama bay and Old Sharm. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to the nearest beach but it only took us 15 mins to... more

we stayed in a double room for 1 week. It was adequate, nothing special, but we got a cheap deal with the buffet breakfast as well. 2-3 star level, definitely a good deal. For the second week we were 'upgraded' to an apartment for 4 people. This was a timeshare swap, a gift from some friends of ours. This was a... more

The positives are the staff and fantastic views of the red sea if you are lucky enough to get a sea view room, and that’s about it. The food is at best average and repetitive, if they serve chicken and lunch, you can guarantee to see chicken on the menu on the evening. Breakfast is abysmal, limited choice which included... more

At last positive reviews for a hotel that does the best it can with what its got. I returned on 10th Dec after spending a week with my daughter at the Creative Grand, yes it was worn around the edges, but i go on holiday to see the culture meet the people, catch some sun and generally unwind. I got... more
