Just got back yesterday, we were upgraded as it was my birthday and had a lovely birthday cake in the room. The rooms were spacious and spotless, we went half board and ate in the Ramses, 20 different choices of main course, desserts were out of this world! They have a new executive chef J.Spiteria who has raised the bar... more

Really enjoyed ourselves at this lovely, well managed hotel with terrific staff and excellent facilities. Our first visit to Sharm, not without reservations. However, would happily return to this oasis of calm, especially for a week long, relaxing holiday in the sun, situated next to the exotic Red Sea which is teeming with colourful marine life. We ate in several... more

We are just back from a blissful two week stay in the Grand Rotana. We stayed in this resort in October last year and fell in love with the place, so much so that we booked straight away to return again this year! Our repeat custom was recognized with a complimentary upgrade to a superior deluxe room with both a... more

We stayed at the hotel at the end of April and we also stayed here last April. We had a wonderful time, the hotel is set in beautiful grounds and the staff are so helpful. The pool is absolutely huge and it never gets busy. The weather was fantastic and so was the snorkelling. I have never seen so many... more

We stayed at the Grand Rotana for 2 weeks in March and had a great time. The hotel is gorgeous with massive pool area, and right on the sea with lots of sunbeds round both. The room was also lovely and clean and modern with a huge bathroom - we had a room overlooking the pool and sea which was... more

Third visit to Rotana and as good as ever Beautiful place , well maintained , good food , expensive drinks ( like most 5* hotels ) As a warning though to other travellers this is a multi national hotel( Russian , German Brits a lot of Arabic ) and as such they must cater for every taste. It is not... more

After arriving at the hotel reception we thought wow this place is NICE!! the porter decided to take all of our bags to the room on a golf buggy with us in the back, after arriving in the room he showed us how to use the various amenities and then proceeded to get the luggage, after bringing in our main... more

Just returned from a week at the Grand Rotana. A great hotel although with over 500 rooms in all honesty it's a little too large for it's own good. main gripe is the extortionate price for extras such a drinks (both alcohol and soft) and spa treatments (£80 for a massage!). A very small glass of local white wine is... more

Just come back from a week at the Rotana and a bit of mixed feelings really. Arrival and check-in were great and we stayed in one of the superior rooms which was worth the money based on the location with a sea view and 10 second walk to the beach. This resort has 9 blocks of rooms so you could... more
