The beds were very uncomfortable, rooms basic but very clean. Food quite good. No toaster or nice egyptian coffee - instant from a jar! Bar service and entertainment non existant. If you were all inclusive the waiters avoided you mostly and seemed loathe to serve you unless absolutely forced to. All inclusive guests were expected to fetch their own drinks... more

Food poisoning, dirty bedroom, tatty and grubby public areas. Staff surly and unhelpful. All inclusive - not very, but did get a few bugs as a extra. Food and drink limited in availability and quality - you had to pay for water! No way is it a 3 star hotel. The only good thing was the weather and the view... more

This hotel was perfect for a relaxing, quiet place to rest and read my book. We could easily walk into town in the evening and to go scuba diving, but otherwise we very much enjoyed being able to hide away from the madness. And the sea breeze was very much needed when sunbathing!! Great value hotel. No fancy trimmings but... more

Just back from the Halomy. When we arrived our room was unavailable - plumbing problems. We therefore spent the first night next door in the Eden Rock. The following day we were shown to our room in the Halomy. First impressions not good - the doorstep was broken and the bathroom door was broken and wouldn't shut. The phone was... more

I have just returned from a 2 week stay here which cost me £150. bed and breakfast. You could stay in much nicer places for twice the price but if you just want a place to sleep I can't fault it for the price. We went diving and so did not stay in the hotel much at all, but just... more
