Me and my boyfried went AI with this hotel from the 18th June-2nd July and for what we paid for it was absolutely fine. The front of the hotel does not give a good impression but you probably wont see it again untill you're being picked up to go home or are going on any excursions. The hotel is old... more

This hotel has the best location in Sharm El Sheikh. Do not eat here, plenty of restaurants within a 5 min.walk. It needs a total renovation. more

If you are someone who, like my boyfriend values his breakfast, then this is not the hotel for you. We stayed on a B+B basis and only 3 of the 11 nights we got up for the breakfast. The only word to describe it is weird. Green boiled eggs, stale toast, onion ans sausage things and weird bread. The rest... more

Ok, if you read most of the reviews on here then you would never visit the Halomy which would be a shame ! I went with my sis from the 9th to the 19th and we had a ball. Is the hotel run-down, Yes ! but come on how much time do you intend to spend in your room on... more

My boyfriend and i just got back from a two week AI holiday at the Halomy. The reason we chose this hotel was for the price (obviously) and also the fact that it hosts its own private beach with its own coral reef. The other hotels have a beach that catered for everyone around Naama Bay, the difference with this... more

The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.Whilst I was there I cut my foot on some coral. The hotel manager came to make sure I was OK and called me a taxi to take me to the hospital. Make friends whilst you are there and have fun.We did and had a great holiday! more

I stayed for a week in early June and these are the main points I would like to make: Positives (1) The view over Naama Bay is magnificent from the hotel. (2) The staff are mostly friendly. Negatives (1) The hotel is a shabby, run down 1970s style holiday camp accessible via an industrial zone overlooking Naama Bay. (2) A... more

Lets put this hotel into perspective. I think it all depends on what YOU are after. The good bits. The view!!! Stunning.. you will NOT get a better view of naama bay in the evening. The staff are very friendly and it is cheap!! Thats about all there is on the good bits. The bad bits.. Pain in the backside... more

We have stayed in 4 different hotels in sharm, and this is definately the worst. I suppose it was a nice place when it was new, but it is so worn and run down now. The whole place needs a serious makeover. It seemed to me that there was a complete lack of maintenance. I saw loose and cracked tiles,... more
