As for the price that we paid for 2 weeks holidays it was OK. We wre lucky (cost $2) that we were not given room with windows on the mini zoo/ Terrible smell. Room big, bed confortable. Food ok - one thing was not ok - chief tried to create food in european way. I understand that it was made... More

I have just come back from travelling to Egypt alone. I am a young lady and never travelled alone or never been to Egypt. Obviously I needed to keep cost down so I opted for Amar Sina as the prices was right for me. When I read the reviews I had it drilled into my head that this place was... More

We arrived late after the flight was delayed and had to make a fuss to get something to eat as we were on an all inclusive basis. They wanted to charge us from the a la carte menu. The rooms are generous but getting tatty - broken tiling and mirrors in the bathroom, hole in the window frames, shabby furniture.... More

This is my second visit in 18months. I use this hotel as i feel it is good value for money. Yes the place is a little run down but it is a Egyption 3 star, so an English 2 star I would suggest. The hotel is close enough to English bars/pubs & a reasonable shopping centre (small) & a 5-10... More

We booked this after reading what it had to offer, and the pictures!!!! When we arrived it was dark so couldn't really tell what the surroundings were like, but our room was dingy and dirty. We went down to reception and they moved us straight away to a better room with a balcony, although that was cleaner, the bathroom looked... More

Im sitting by the pool at the amar sina, just about to get our flight back home. This is the second time we visited the Amar sina, the last time being 6 years ago. We have found that in that time, the hotel has let itself go. The hotel now how a feel of being run down, and in need... More

This place is designed to represent an Egyptian village which explains its quirky design. The hotel is pretty run down and a bit dusty/dirty but if you are looking for an ultra cheap base for diving then the Amar Sina could be ok. Rooms are based on an Egyptian design which means that there is little natural daylight, but a/c... More

I visited Egypt, Sharm El Sheikh for the FOURTH time and stayed at Amar Sina last August - I'm still asking myself 'WHY?' Rooms are spacious with very little light. A/C works etc if the generators are working. One day a big coach load of Egyptian/muslim families arrived and they seemed to take over the hotel and given preferential treatment.... More
