Have just returned from 1 week stay at the Tropicana Grand Oasis hotel. Could not fault the cleanliness of the hotel and the room, as with all 4* hotels in a country where the daytime temperature is over 100 degrees and the evenings not much cooler, the air conditioneing could have been a lot better in the rooms and around... more

Could not fault the staff, the cleanliness, the red sea or the weather, only problems for us were the rude Russians & our choice of travel agent, never use escape travel, they left us stranded at hotel, we had to get taxi & were last to get on plane, they messed us around on arrival ,having us change bus [minibus]... more

Our holiday at Tropicana Grand Oasis Resort was well worth the money we paid for it. Good Points of our stay- Rooms were spotlace you couldnt pick one fault, the room cleaner was always there at 9 every morning without fail, the staff were all very friendly and if you had any problems they would bend over backwards to help... more

My wife and myself have just returned from the tropicana after our second stay there. the hotel has not changed much since 2006 it is still very well kept and everyone there can't do enough for you. the waiters much prefer the british. I think the meals have improved since we were last there, we had some really nice meals,... more

Great value for money, very friendly staff (remember to tip at the start of the week and you will be very well looked after). Don't expect too much with the food but plenty to choose from and try to ignore the russians! The Red Sea boat trip is a must. Remember to take your mosquito repellent, if you go out... more

My husband and I travelled to the Tropicana Grand Oasis for a week at the end of May and had a fantastic break... Travel We flew with Monarch (booked with Olympic) and had some delays due to engine problems, however, Monarch quickly scrambled us a new crew and plane. Obviously not an ideal start to our holiday but can't be... more

Booked hol after changing from Dominican Republic to mexico with another company so would have lost large deposit with thomas cook so asked for cheapest deal for 4 to egypt for a week and this hotel was cheapest! With this in mind, and after reading every review on trip advisor prior to hol, went with low expectations with a week... more

This was fair value for the money but unfortunately the hotel guests were mainly Russian. We were amazed by their rudeness and bad manners and the way they wasted food. Is this a new foung freedom that they can't handle. The entertainment for engish visitors was almost nil and for the British children. The hotel staff were fantastic, well mannered, friendly... more

We booked this holiday for my birthday last august, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the gardens are very well cared for, there is a lack of imagination when it comes to the food I must admit i'm a fussy eater ok but you expect something that would be classed as edible. for the whole 2 weeks I ate crisp... more
