We stayed at Faraana Reef for 10 days in July. The room was clean and tidy and we were impressed with the quality of the air con. The cleaner was very good & also very friendly. We quickly realised that we were possibly one of 3 English couples in the hotel. The entertainment was in Italian and Russian as most... More

We arrived on 30th July, and found out instantly that we were the only British family there - everywhere you looked, you'd see Russians and Italians staring you down with a grim face. Most of the staff were quite boring when it came to British people, however the "restaurant" beer server enjoyed having us around cause of our Indian ethnic... More

So let me start off with the fact that the general architecture of the hotel is brilliant. It's absolutely beautiful. It has been landscaped really well and it's sort of like a mini village which I liked because it's not like a usual hotel with rooms coming off the lobby/reception area. But that's where the good stuff ends. I don't... More

The rooms are ok and cleaned daily; AC very good. We had a pool view room, so pleased we could just step out and splash away. The resort... More

In this May we had a lovely 2 weeks-long holiday in Faraana Reef Resort. The hotel is an average 4* egyptian hotel. There are different type of rooms, newer ond older ones. We had standard double room in the old sector (room Nr. 539), the bathroom really needs renewal, but in total there was no big problem with the room.... More

We stayed at the end of April and we're seasoned travellers to Sharm but this was our first time to El Faraana Reef. Amazing beach front location... perfect for snorkelling/diving. BUT the following info may have helped our expectations on arrival; all drinks are served in very small plastic Pepsi cups... that's ALL drinks beer water spirits etc. No glasses... More
