Dirty. Several of our group had stomach upsets. There was lumps of jelly on the curtains in the dining room. I doubt the place is ever cleaned. The food was awful. The rooms were disgusting. Best of all we returned after the climb of Mount Sinai, totally manky with sweat at 8.30am, to find the hotel had no water. That's... more

This is one of the filthiest hotels I've stayed in. We were part of a tour group and had no choice The outside looks so good and you expect at least basic amenities. But the room was full of cigarette ash. The bedsheets were not clean. Fortunately we had brought our own and used that. We also used our own... more

The hotel is in the mountains and on face value its a very attractive place. Blocks of 2 up and 2 down built in stone surrounded by the mountains with the sun and moon out at the same time. Thats the niceties out of the way, now comes the truth. We arrived in the dark and entered the courtyard that... more

Dining room dirty. The table cloths were filfthy. Note behind room door stated the room rates and offered a 50% reduction for Egyptains. Can you imagine... more

We recently stayed one night at this so called hotel. The facilities were terrible, the food down right unedible and dangerous, the electrics appalling, the rooms small, dirty and the electrics there were unbelievable. The swimming pool was a nasty shade of green, The staff will try to rip you off by not giving you change. After climbing Mt, Sinai,... more

We stayed at this "hotel" last week - thankfully for 1 night only, we were part of a 42 strong party on a tour of Egypt & Jordan. The rooms were cramped and dull, we had to remove the mat on the floor as it was a real trip hazard, there were no shower accesories provided eg shampoo or shower... more

The main reason we booked here was that they had a swimming pool. On arrival, we discovered it was green. Despite the staff's assurances it was OK, there was no way our kids were swimming in that! Also, despite our request for a room with double bed and two singles (which we had written confirmation of via email from their... more
