Had a great time! Love sitting around the fire with the people who stayed and worked at the camp. Listened to some amazing camel stories and learend a lot about the life in Sinai. Tea in the morning and then a lovely walk to Saint Caterina monastery. It was very cold at night, make sure you have extra warm clothes... More

We spent just two days with Sheik Mousa's Bedouin Camp and nearby Ecolodge, but they were an amazing two days full of nature, hiking, gorgeous night skies filled with stars, kind hospitable Bedouin locals, and delicious home-cooked meals. We arrived to Sharm El-Sheikh airport in the early evening, and had pre-arranged for an airport pick-up through Sheik Mousa. One of... More

Nice setting, as are all the hotels in this area, adequate rooms for price although very difficult to heat in late Autumn, rooms get no sun, sleeping bag essential, shower was useless. Food was adequate. Staff and management were friendly, especially toward young, european females, not a good look. Was assured they would get me a guide so I could... More

Certainly one of the most enjoyable parts of my time in Egypt was the week I spent in St. Catherine at the Bedouin Camp. The quiet mountain village offered welcome respite from the cacophonous Cairo, as did the friendly and always smiling locals. Sitting around the fire in the evenings sipping copious amounts of Bedouin tea and downing the excellent... More

Upon arrival into the area, the friendly staff picked me up from the bus terminal. When I arrived at the property my first impression was that of a desert oasis. I was delighted by the surroundings and relaxed by the environment. The food was good, the room clean and comfortable, the service was beyond excellent. They made us feel just... More

Salah, the owner of Sheikh Mousa's Bedouin camp picked me up from Sharm Airport and we drove to Dahab. Between the highway and Dahab was a broken road with a diversion sign. This did not deter Salah with his 4WD. Let me just say that it was a free tour and gave me some insight into Bedouin norms which you... More

This was such a lucky find for my husband and me. The owners and staff of this camp are very friendly and helpful. The food is great, made to order, and affordable. We stayed an extra night because the room was so cheap ($15 per night for a double bed) and the place was so peaceful. The views surrounding the... More

Imagine our surprise when we learned that it is darn right cold in Egypt during the early spring. We got off the bus in St. Catherine's around 7 pm and we quickly loaded into a truck that would take us to the Bedouin Camp. Only minutes after arriving we felt at home with both the other guests and friendly staff.... More
