Stayed in the Makadi Place from 11 December 2009 to 18 December 2009. Great Hotel, lovely rooms, friendly staff. Saw a chef handling raw and cooked chicken with the same hand. Absolutely awesome!!! Great restaurants with items you do not expect on all inclusive board. The only downside is the beach that requires special shoes. more

Stayed here for 1 week with my partner, the hotel is stunning! When you pull up in the coach you'll be questioning whether what you've paid to stay here is correct! It looks top top class. We were greeted at the airport by around 6-7 reps who made sure that everyone found their way to the waiting buses. 20 minutes later we arrived at the very grand entrance to the hotel. My 11th visit to Egypt and most likely the best hotel we have stayed in to date so thats good news. Only gripe being the numerous pools are seriously cold this time of year and one heated pool would have made all the difference. Fantastic week! The Palace seems much better than the Grand next door. The Palace is great value. The Hotel reef and drop-off offers similar visibility as the Maldives waters. Amazing Snorkeling! We just wished there was a pier over the edge of the reef because it's almost impossible not to touch the coral as you swim over the drop off.... more
